We are the ONLY campground located in the city limits of Oshkosh. We are also the ONLY campground located off the interstate, between Illinois and Green Bay, and centrally located between all the major cities, including just over an hour from Milwaukee, and Madison; just over an hour from Manitowoc and Sheboygan, and about 90 minutes from Stevens Point/Wausau.

Now in our 13th year, we built the park with "big rigs" in mind, so we are easy to get in and get out of, with ample space in our 58+ foot pull thru sites, including 20/30/50 amp and water service at each site.

Oshvegas Palms is also 30 seconds from the Outlet Mall, just across the highway from the world-famous EAA Air Museum. and just minutes from the Military Veterans Museum.

If you're looking for a very convenient place to pull in, hook up and relax, don't roll the dice. Stay someplace nice. Oshvegas Palms Resort.

Very nice place to camp. Quite and friendly. Small but accommodates all types of campers. Has 30 and 50 Amp hookups. Tenting up to cabin, they have two. My second year long term camping here. On the edge of the city and close to everything.

    Green Lake Campground

    Great little Campground

Our site was S10 which has its pros and cons it is a full hook-up site this section of the campground is fairly new so there is a few in mature trees so there is not much for shade as we walked around the campground we found some full hookup sites that would be great in the wooded area so there would be plenty of shade and it's next to the swimming pond. The 9-hole golf course was nice I just wish I would have remembered my clubs. Like most campgrounds on the weekends it's full during the weekdays pretty well emptied out we arrived on Thursday we had the adult pool to ourselves which is great. The only thing I notice is if you have kids it's too bad they didn't have more things for the kids to climb on in the pond I have a few kayaks and paddle boards. We did enjoy the campground and we will be planning to return

    Scheffel's Hideaway Campground

    Immaculate, Friendly,Beautiful

We visited in mid September 2020 and found the hosts to be very very helpful and friendly. They have been in business here for 10 years and it looks like everything is brand new. We stayed here as part of a month long travel vacation and are likely to come back - so many places to see and so little time. Our site had trees and full hook-ups. For families in warmer weather, we did not see a pool or playground but that is not something we look for in September in northern Wisconsin on Lake Michigan.

This campground is right next to Point Beach in Two Rivers , Wisconsin.

    Very nice

This campground was very nice right on the lake. Very well kept and clean. Is plenty of room for any size rig. Dollar General very close. ATV friendly. It had 30 amp and 50 amp And water. $25 per night. $350 per month with full hook-ups. All the roads in the park were paved. Bathroom and showers available, very clean and private. Boat ramps and docs are there Along with free kayaks for the campers. 2 pavilions for large families and get togethers. I would definitely go back to this campground.

    Fondu Lac County Fairground

Perfect Spot Close to City's Amenities

The Fon Du Lac Fairgrounds was a great place to park our camper with full hook ups. It was great to be able to stay in the middle of the city/town versus on the outskirts like most normal campgrounds.

We did not use the campgrounds bathrooms or showers but from their website they had some available. We were close to our neighbors on either side, but the park wasn’t full so it did not feel like we were on top of one another.

We did have to buy two extenders for our sewer hose as our 38 foot rig’s sewer spigot was too far from the sewer hook up. This was an affordable place to stay and was within walking distance to a coffee shop and a pizza place. The staff was very friendly upon arriving and leaving. We paid $25 per night.

It’s fine for the air show or festivals.

It’s a basic rv park. Water and power only, with a dump station out front. There is no other amenities. We were there for the EAA air show, so we needed little. The owner is very laid back and friendly. He has plans to upgrade the layout.

    Apple Creek Campground

    Crowded, loud and stinky

This is more of an RV park. It has lots of activities for kids etc but when we were there the place stunk. The pond for “fishing” had an odd algae/dead fish smell and the campsite smelled like sewer mixed with manure.

The sites are right on top of each other and you could hear a mouse fart in the other sites.

    Great campground

This is a small campground. It offers Rv pull through sites with electric and water. Along with a variety of other type of sites. There are many seasonal campsites. It is very clean and well run. The owner - Reid was great. It has a small pond to swim in and is also located on big lake. They have boat rentals. I only gave it 4 stars because we prefer full hookup but they did offer pump out service for a small fee. Great location with lots of things to do in the area.

    Sleepy Hollow Farms

    Convenient to the highway

General: There is both a north and a south part to this campground with a total of 178 sites. The sites in the south part are all on a grassy field and there is a small man-made lake with an inflatable play area. The sites in the north part are a mix of full hook-up and tent sites. There are also small cabins (only one of which has a bathroom) and three “condos”. These all had air-conditioners, but I did not see the inside of them. The north unit features a pond, which I was disappointed to discover was algae-filled and completely green.

Site Quality: Some are pull-through and some back-in. Some sites have electric and water hookups, some have picnic tables, and some have fire rings (but not all sites have all of these amenities). Only a handful have concrete pads; the rest are all on grass.

Our impression of Sleepy Hollow was influenced in part by the fact that it poured rain for much of our overnight stay. The roads were all dirt and with the rain, became very muddy along with the campsites as well. When leaving the next day, we had some challenges backing out of our site with the amount of mud. There is no clear delineation between the sites other than where the electric and water hookups are placed.

Bathhouse: Was very clean (in both the north and south units of the campground). Showers are available for a fee (five minutes for$1.00) but we did not use them so cannot comment on how well they worked.

Activities/Amenities: In the south unit, there is a small manmade lake with an inflatable play structure and plenty of life jackets. The color is a beautiful Caribbean blue, but it did not look natural, and I was not sure of the source of the color. We were there on a weekday in September, and no one was using the lake. There is a small bar and grill (in the north section) and a concession (south unit) on-site, but both were closed when we were there. Firewood was available (15 pieces for $10); we asked and were granted permission to use the golf cart to bring the wood to our site. Other than the lake, there really is nothing offered for recreation.

We chose this campground for its location; it is very close to Highway 41 in Oshkosh (you will hear road noise) and we were meeting family there. We checked in online the day before and arrived at 3:30 pm. No one was in the office when we arrived but the family members we were meeting had arranged for us to camp in the site next to them (not the original one we had selected). This campground is VERY close to EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association), and I imagine it would be completely full during the annual EAA convention. For us, it was a convenient location but aside from spending time with our family, the reason we chose this campground.

    Hattie Sherwood Park

    Nice campground

We went here for labor day a couple years back. It was a nice clean campground. It doesn't have a full-time attendant. Self register upon arriving. The morning time the park manager comes through and checks in, cleans the bathrooms etc. Its close to the city if you forget something (I mean we all forget something at some point). Across the street is a swimming area. Little beach and floating dock. Has a small fishing area by the boat launch. Pretty weedy and the dock is shared with people coming in or out with their boat. Smaller fish perfect for younger kids. You can fish further down by the bridge as well. Sites seemed to all be decent size. Plenty of 5th wheels or camper trailers. (At the time we had a tent). We did have some loud neighbors from Illinois. They partied until 2 or 3 in the morning. We talked to the park manager in the morning and he was very helpful. He apologized and talked to the group. We didnt have any other issues the rest of the weekend. Running water and showers at the bathrooms. They were cleaned every morning and then checked on at night. Scenery was great, you could walk across the street and watch the sunrise over green lake. We will definitely stop here again.

    Playful Goose Of Horicon

    Beautiful location, but.....

This park was in an absolutely beautiful area, but it needs a lot of TLC. Many of the sites were overgrown and there are a lot of rundown permanent sites here.

We had a full hookup site and are not pool users, so I’m not aware of bathroom or pool conditions. This is a very peaceful park and a short ride to the Horicon Marsh which is a must see for bird-lovers.

I hope the owners are able to put some more time into caring for this campground and turning it into the exceptional park it has the potential to be.

    Harrington Beach State Park Campground

    Beautiful secluded state park!

This was our first time camping in Wisconsin and we got to say we absolutely love this park. Most of the sites are pretty secluded so if you enjoy your privacy I will love this place. Everything was clean and updated including the bathrooms. The campsites are about a mile or two from Lake Michigan but it is an easy drive or hike as there are many trails that go through the park. When we went to the lake level was up so high due to flooding that we weren’t really able to enjoy the beach but normally there is plenty of coastline for enjoying some beach time.

    Great little state park

Mauthor Lake is a beautiful state park in Wisconsin. Good for biking, hiking, swimming and fishing. Sites are fairly wooded and private. Most of them seemed to be a decent size. Electric hook-ups, but no water. You can fill up at the dump station but I recommend bringing drinking water. There is a general store just outside the park where you can rent row boats, kayaks and paddle boats. The beach is mostly shallow water great for little ones. Flush toilets and changing area nearby. Small concession stand and playground within eyesight of beach

    Somewhat isolated sites

This is a nice park with very friendly staff and 50 amp power. No water or sewer but does have a dump station. The sites are gravel but very unlevel. To level my 35 foot motor home my rear tires had to come off the ground by at least 6 inches. The sites are bordered by natural grasses and foliage. That provides a feeling of isolation. If not for the unlevel sites I could easily give it 5 stars.

Wisconsin while visiting Greenbay and Lambeau Field

We were in route to visiting Green Bay Wisconsin and found this campground on Lake Michigan. We were able to secure a sight by calling directly to the park because the phone number was on the Wisconsin State Map. The had a staff of about 5 people at the and took a debit card for Payment. We paid $22 for the sight because it had electricity and an additional $9 day fee required in Wisconsin. You can pay $30 for a season, we were only in Wisconsin for two nights. The sight was nice for a tent and we were able to hang out on the beach of Lake Michigan. The bathrooms had hot showers. We got up early and made our way to Green Bay.

    Ledge County Park

    Wonderful campground for nature lovers

After leaving a flooded, soggy Blue Mounds State Park we decided to see if we could get a site here on Saturday afternoon so we could complete a weekend camping in our new trailer. We were thrilled to be able to choose from maybe 20 unoccupied non electric sites - we do not need electricity as we have solar. These sites were so spacious - but one downside is the fire pits are very old and many do not have grills for cooking on.

Pit toilets are available in the non electric area, but toilets/showers are available by the dump station. Two playgrounds, picnic areas, fabulous trails, and just beside the Horicon Marsh wildlife area. We will be back!

Pike Lake Campground — Kettle Moraine State Forest-Pike Lake Unit

    Feels Like Home

After an extended time at Pike Lake campground, we've come to feel like this is home.

Each of the 32 sites is unique in their own way. Some are large and flat perfect for a class A (#2 #4, #29 #31 is okay, but smaller), some incorporate the geography into the site (#23 & #17 - very much tent sites, #15 great for a small trailer, #7NE, #9NE). There is a TIGHT turn in the campground loop near site #17 to be aware of with longer trailers. Generally, the inner ring is electric (except #23) and the outer ring is non-electric. Flush bathrooms and clean showers. Three backpacking sites off the IAT - one prairie, two wooded. B2 and B3 are large.

Hiking is great beginner trails within the park and connects to the IAT (Ice Age Trail). Bike trail now connects to the campground making biking to Pike Lake possible. The campground is on the opposite side of the park from the lake, so driving or biking are the options to get from the campground to the water.

Close to all of the troubleshooting options for new campers (Walmart, grocery, fast food, vegan grocery store & coffee shop).

Lots of downed trees, but nice and quiet in shoulder season

I backpacked the IAT with a group and we camped for the night at Mauthe Lake at the beginning of April. There are lots of downed trees at the campground, which sort of detracted from the landscape (tornado damage, I'm told). Pit toilets were open, but water had not yet been turned on so be prepared to filter if you go this early in the season. We perused different sites/loops for a while to find adjacent non-electric sites large enough for multiple tents at each and were able to fit 8-9 (small backpacking) tents between 314 and 313.

    Osh Vegas Palms

    Overnight

Easy Access. Grass Sites with easy entry for our 42 ft motor home without disconnecting our tow vehicle. 50 amp., water. And this small campground has great WiFi !

This is a small overnight spot (perhaps 20 spaces?) but the manager is incredibly helpfull and his positive friendly manner will have us stop in again if we find ourselves in the area.

There is an adjacent country road that was good for exercising our four legged camper.

There are two single restrooms and porta potties.

This is urban “camping” but with our Passport America discount(and the heatwave this summer) we find ourselves looking for places to “plug in” while we explore surrounding areas.

    High Cliff State Park Campground

Overlooking the lake - just barely

Nice campground - It was a May spring day - so filtered light through early foliage.  We had a cliffside site - non electric - (so very private as most were in electric sites) We could see the Lake through the new growth - but no clear view.  Imagine later in the season- there is no view.  Large site - with easy access to trails right from the campground.  And consequently we also had many hikers walking right in front of our site - especially towards sunset.  The trillium were in full bloom and added some magic to our site,  the limestone formations are really interesting and close to the site.  We did not have reservations but the campground hosts were very helpful and were also able to sell us some firewood (nice on those cooler May evenings).  The trails in the park are varied - from accessible (a lovely hike around a pond with MANY birds) and a more challenging hike along the cliff side and Lake - but lovely - especially this time of year.  Mayflies could be heard near the lake but we didn't run into any major issues with them (which we have sometimes experienced at Devils Lake) The history of the park is also part of the intrigue with the defunct lime kilns.

    Kohler-Andrae State Park

    Great

Another beautiful Wisconsin State Park. We’ve stayed in several of these now, and have found them to be consistently well maintained, clean, free showers (this one has a handle where you can actually adjust the temperature), with dumpsters, recycling, and a dump station and water fill.

We paid $40/night for an electric (30amp) site because we needed to run the a/c, but otherwise that’s far too expensive and we’d much rather pay $25 for a non-power site. There’s also the $13/day or $38 annual state park fee (residents pay a few dollars less), which we’re seeing more and more of at state parks now.

Rangers and hosts are super friendly and helpful as well. There are nice trails around the campground, and some of them even allow dogs. Only a portion of the beach allows dogs, so watch for that. Sites vary in levelness and amount of privacy from your neighbor.

There’s also laundry here, such a nice perk for full timers like us! Laundry day at the laundromat is such an unpleasant chore.

ATT had good service and Verizon had weak service.

    Sundance Farm Campground

    Wonderful

I almost hate to give this place 5 stars because I don’t want everyone else to find out about it… it’s a wonderful campground. The host is so nice, everyone is quiet and kind, the bathrooms are spotlessly clean, reliable Wi-Fi, great water/power hookups, the works. Minutes from downtown Plymouth and Road America.
