Excellent Family Friendly Campground

Great place for kids and adults and extremely dog friendly (both at the park and campground). Clean bathroom/shower facilities. Electric at every site. Water stations available at every few sites. Shuttle buses come through campground but it’s an easy walk to the park. Staff is friendly, with exception of the security between the park and campground whom are not friendly at all. Can get kind of smokey due to the firewood they sell, it’s generally not very well seasoned.

Very Friendly place

The staff was very friendly and so we're the people who were staying here as well. The kids enjoyed the indoor pool. Looking forward to coming back in the summer. Thank you Brenda our check in lady, you made us feel welcome 😊

Not bad for Thousand Trails

Nice place, we stayed opening weekend so many amenities were closed. Ordered firewood that didn't show up for 24hrs, but they gave me a free bundle so… Our site was nice and would be private once the trees fill in later in the season. Water pressure was good. Overall, I would recommend as a place to try once.

Crowded

This is a clean, nice looking campground in a location very close to Hershey park and the outlets. It’s a very nice area. If you stay with water and electric only, there is much more space than if you stay in the section where you have full hook-ups. In the full hook-ups, campers are crowded in very close to one another. The area has a lot of trees, which adds to the overall allure.

Love this place!

Just booked our second vacation to this campground. Easy access and a great central location to TONS of antique shops. Very clean and very friendly. Highly recommend!

These park Rangers are brown shirts.

The park rangers at Hibernia regularly use means of threats and intimidation for those who visit the park. They are not friendly, and are looking to give out infractions and make people pay fines. Even when laws, regulations, ordinances and or stated rules are not being broken. They will twist their observations to suite a narrative to provide themselves with due cause to intimidate and fabricate a reason to complicate your life. Thus ultimately ruining the experience. I would recommend this park if Chester County could hire non-draconian park rangers who goose step with pride.

Right on the trail system

Amazing place, can ride so you're toys straight into thousands of acres of family fun, we try to get down here twice a year. Sites are spacious and most are shady. Just be aware it's a newer place so they are constantly improving it. Love Trailhead and AOAA

Good

Great place. No water hook up. No sewer hook up. Just electric at certain sites. Convenient paved walking path all around the lake, swimming lake with beach, nice playground for kids. Lake is Good for fishing and canoe/kayak rides. Bathrooms are absolutely horrendous - Really terrible.

Excellent trip but also a sense of deja vu

The cabins are full electric with heat and are well appointed. It was an excellent fall trip location for a family with young children. I said there was a sense of deja vu because the cabin, even it's placement relative to the lake was near identical to the cabin we had at Hills Creek State Park the month before.
