Lavaland is a nice rv park, but focused on the older community. registration was easy and online. Check in was simple.

There is no kid amenities at this property. There is a small dog run. No grass.

The property is still under construction in some spots. Newly cement pads and updated electrical…

Lakeside camping

Great area to camp in although it is monsoon season so we got rained out for six hours the first night. This park has a lot of campsites primitive, no electric, electric, full hook ups, seen a lot of RVs parked right next to the lake. They have showers facilities with warm water, bathrooms located…

El Caso 2…Don’t mind if I do!

Love this site. We end up here a few times a year. This was a special occasion to celebrate life and enjoy family. It was spring break and we drove through a blizzard to find ourselves under clear skies at Quemado Lake. El Caso camp ground is a few miles into the canyon. The camp sites are spread…

Very nice waterfront camping

Very nice park & camping area. Wild horses & jack rabbits present. We dispersed & parked our truck camper right on the shoreline for $8. The hook up sites over looked the water (paved pad, pavilion, fire ring, 30&50 amp electric) bathrooms, showers, dump station. Boat ramp. Nice…

Great spot for a short getaway.

Beautiful lake, wonderful views, great staff, and spacious sites. Wished there were a bit more trees though. Will be going back when we can.

Quiet and beautiful

We stayed away from lake because of our dogs. They tend to bark if people go by. The space was nice but the sites were too close for us. I preferred more space for privacy but we’re new to RVing, so perhaps this is normal. Park Ranger was very nice and helped us settle in. The view to the canyon…

Fine for just one night

We tried to stay at the Joe Skeen CG and it was full on a Wednesday. Searching further we found this spot. There are "no camping" signs once in the picnic area but nothing indicating no overnight parking or camping on the 3 spots near the TH for the Narrows Rim Trail. It was 7pm when we rolled…

Beautiful and peaceful

This is a wonderful campground. Our site (A) was perfectly level on a concrete pad. The site came with a large fire ring conveniently located in the rear part of the concrete pad and a picnic table covered with a roofed shelter. The site was clean, spacious, and even though it was not a lake side…

Lakefront camping

Uncrowded when we were there State park located right on a man-made lake. unfortunately, the lake level is extremely low! Decent sites each with picnic table and fire pit some with shade canopies others with a little natural tree cover, not a lot of privacy. Pit toilets, no drinking water available…

Price is good!

This RV Park is well advertised along the highway saying $20 for full hookups. Those sites were all full - mostly with long term tenants, but they had a group of sites with electric and water, no sewer... same price. We took it for two nights, then decided to stay a third night because our next…
