This is an artist paradise. So many beautiful land formations and gorgeous sunsets. The campground includes a bath house with laundry room and electric hookups if needed. $30 to tent camp (no electric). Lodging, yurts and cabins, are also available.

This RV campground is beautiful and peaceful. The river flows next to the grounds and the trees provide lovely shade. The campground is super clean and well maintained. The hosts, Bill and Julia, are friendly and welcoming. The other campers follow the rules and are friendly too. Lots of folks who…
We love the place, some people took up a lot of space and blocked areas. Verizon was good 2-3 bars with LTE. Some gnats, had to go up a mile or so, to get a spot...1
Just watched an amazing sunset from our spot. Conveniently located and super affordable. Very nice greeting from the man at the front desk as well. Definitely a nice find just outside of Taos.
We were here in June 2019, and it was completely overgrown and in the middle of a cow pasture. Didn't stay for long, but it was disappointing because it is over an hour from the main road.
Very nice campground. Camp host, Dawn, was very pleasant. No luck fishing but several people around us were catching very nice sized trout.
Vault toilets were well stocked and clean. Trails near b for hiking and biking
Extra dispersed campsites up dirt road from campground entrance

The campground is really just a parking lot overlooking the lake. The view is very nice though and so is the reliable breeze. Don’t bank on the showers working, they were not in-op when we visited.
Great place to camp along the top of the Rio Grande.
We stayed in Blanco CG site 52 for 6 days in a 36’ Class A with a Cherokee Trailhawk tow. The park has gone to great lengths to make the sites level and most looked like they were. Ours was very level and I almost didn’t need to level at all. All of the sites are spacious and quite widely spaced.…

If you're jammed up for a place (Sand Dunes CG fills fast), decent overnight. But nothing else to recommend. A mile up the hill has nice views but is rocky and difficult to find a level spot. Would not return unless I had to.
Entrance located between mile marker 3 & 4. The road is, I think, actually a really nice dirt road for about the first 1-2 miles in. After that the road turns into bigger rocks, I was definitely not taking my 2wd van up. Beautiful spot, the weekend was busy but it wasn't a problem for me and it…
This was an amazing campground! Simple and spread out from your neighbor! We stayed for 4 nights and 5 days, experienced all kinds of weather, did our laundry in the super nice and clean building that housed laundry and 4 individual showers, and enjoyed the drives to Durango, Silverton, Great Sand…

Nice campground with easy access. The park was clean, and the staff was very friendly. RV sites on the river seemed close together, but the sites next to the mountain felt more private.

The campground itself is very nice. Most pullouts had fire pits and it got fairly busy on the Friday night we stayed. However, there was a sand storm when we were setting up the tent around 2pm. We had to hide under the tarp for about an hour to protect ourselves. Highly recommend checking the wind…
