When you’re camping in New Hampshire you don’t have to choose between going on a hardcore hike or relaxing in your hammock on a quiet lakeshore. With hundreds of campsites across the state—and with mountains and lakes close to so many of them—you can easily access the best of both worlds. Lake Winnipesaukee is by far the largest and best-known body of freshwater in the Granite State, but New Hampshire is dotted with bodies of water of all sizes, from the swimming holes and rushing rivers of the mountains, to the ponds and lakes lined with classic cottages in the aptly named Lakes Region. 


Fortunately for all of us, mountains are just as plentiful. While Mount Washington, in the heart of the White Mountain National Forest, has the most name recognition in the state (and claims to have the worst weather in the world), it’s not even the only notable peak to bag in the Presidential Range. Adams, Jefferson, Monroe, Madison, Pierce, Eisenhower, and Jackson mountains can all be ticked off your list of New Hampshire’s 48 4,000-footers. And the White Mountains aren’t the only game in town either. Go camping at Monadnock State Park and do any number of hikes in the area, including the ever-popular Mount Monadnock, of course. Mount Monadnock’s isolated peak provides fantastic views and is one of the most frequently hiked mountains in the world.

The campsite is located near tons of hiking trails and preserves, including Purgatory Falls trailhead. Just less than 20 minutes away from the campsite is Wapack National Wildlife Refuge, Greenfield State Park, Miller State Park.

Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature! You'll have the entire campsite to yourself, as you'll be the only Campers enjoying this piece of paradise.

Each campsite includes a 10'x12' safari-style canvas tent on a raised platform, and you'll find one queen bed or a queen-size bunk bed inside (each site is different, see photos for the exact setup). Larger groups can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that___s provided (you___re welcome to bring your own camping gear too). You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night.

Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location on the property. 

If a CampKeeper submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the CampKeeper___s property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!

Occupancy: Max occupancy refers to the total number of campers allowed at the site during your reservation. We welcome campers with larger parties, but you may need to bring extra camping gear of your own in addition to the tent that is already provided. Please plan accordingly.

Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. Line the bucket with a CleanWaste bag supplied at the camp (or another appropriate plastic bag) prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. We got this idea from bathrooms used on NASA spaceships, and we've used the Tentrr Loo countless times ourselves- don't worry!

Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.

* A well-designed, water and fire-proofed 4 season canvas tent. So even on rainy days, you will be kept warm and dry, listening to the sound of the rain. The windows and front and back doors unzip to screened windows and doors to help you fight off any potential mosquitoes while also allowing a warm summer breeze to flow through.
* A deck with comfortable Adirondack chairs.
* A queen-size bed with a comfortable memory foam mattress, super soft sheets, cushy pillows, a soft, warm duvet cover, and a blanket. A rug is underneath to keep those bare feet warm!
* A wood stove in the winter season and a gas heater in the in-between seasons to light on cool mornings, a fire pit to light on beautiful evenings, and plenty of dry firewood to purchase from us for both.
*Battery-operated lanterns and a battery pack to charge your own devices. There is good cell phone reception. (T-Mobile and Verizon work best).

This is a hike-in glamping site. Parking for you is provided on our property. If you have an ATV or UTV you are welcome to bring it along and to drive into your camping site. Otherwise, my husband or I will take you and your luggage with our UTV to your tent site.

Tentrr Signature Site - The Bubbling Brook

  Platform and Back-country Sites are available. Sunset Ridge is hammock preferred and small tent friendly, however Only the signature site has a provided tent and stove ( this listing is for weekday rentals only) … see our separate listing for the signature Lost Boys Hideout Rock'n Summer for weekend rentals of the campsite {which does have pictures here on this page).   Different sites have different parking areas and different levels of access ease. Sunset Ridge is the most difficult, think rural and rugged. While the Hideout, our main signature site, is the easiest and has the most amenities. Sleepy Hollow is the middle ground to walk in, with provided summer tents & some comforts, but is closest to the local public road.   This is your perfect escape to the woods with a private seasonal pond and plenty of marked private hiking trails. A short drive down to the beach and a full-service boat ramp for Horace Lake, so bring your boat, water skis and ice fishing gear! You can rent our canoes for Horace Lake or Turkey Pond for great fishing. Don't forget your mountain bike for trails or area specialty adventure centers. Off site ATV trails, snowmobile trails, and other seasonal adventure locations are within easy reach. Be at peace and stay by the campfire soaking in calm with nature surrounding you.   I'll have some fresh drinking water ready for you. We are excited to meet you! One night stays will be considered on a case-by-case basis- don't hesitate to ask! If we don't have a prior multi-day reservation one week ahead of time, we will do our best to accommodate you! Lots of extras available for rent for those folks who are not stocked up on camping gear. Bedding, tents, cooking gear, gas stove top, etc etc!

Your site sits right on the river's edge, secluded in the heart of nature's beauty.  During the warmer weather, you can swim, sun, fish, boat, bike, hike or maybe even learn to paddle board. (Boats on site, and EMS is just down the road to rent a board for the weekend or day).556  447

Your standard Tentrr site includes a Canvas Tent, Bunk with 2 Queen Beds, Camp Table Camp Benches, Adirondack Chairs,  Wood Stove, Campfire Grill, Grill Tongs & Brush, Water Carrier, Sun Shower, Trash Can, and Camp toilet.

We have provided some free extras, such as a charcoal grill, fire pit, one bundle of firewood, grill gride and rotisserie arm, camp chairs, loo privacy tent,  5 gallon water jug/pumps, and more.  You just need to supply the linens, instant coals (for safety reasons, no lighter fluid allowed), and the marshmallows! 

On site, cool off in the tire tube at the river's edge right out in front of your private site!  Or enjoy the outdoor shower and small beach area which is a short walk or bike rack away and includes a swim platform, 30 ft. "Lily Pad '', and complimentary floats. Kayaks, canoes, row boats and a paddle boats and paddle boards are at your fingertips,  all available to rent for a small fee (includes life preservers and oars) 

Complimentary bicycles, and games are available for guests to use on site as well as at the park across the street with a playground area and ball field. as well as a small local store that sells bait and also offers a respectable selection of craft beers!

You can also reserve a private hot tub for a small fee as well. Don't forget to bring your bathrobe and crocs or flip flops. 

For your  convenience complimentary electrical outlets, and power packs, additional firewood, etc. (minimal fee may apply). 

If you are traveling with a pet, we do have a small pet fee and pet policy which we will send to you after you book.  There is a small fee for additional supplies if traveling with additional people.  If you have a larger group, you may want to reserve a dome tent and/or see our other listings for more places available to book, including10 additional and unique accommodations on the property.

The Space:

Guest Access:
This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with farmers, ranchers, and other property owners to offer unique outdoor accommodations on beautiful private land. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature! You'll have the entire campsite to yourself, as you'll be the only Campers enjoying this piece of paradise.

Each campsite includes a 10'x12' safari-style canvas tent on a raised platform, and you'll find one queen bed or a queen-size bunk bed inside (each site is different, see photos for the exact setup). Larger groups can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that___s provided (you___re welcome to bring your own camping gear too). You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night.

Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location on the property. 

If a CampKeeper submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the CampKeeper___s property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!


Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. Line the bucket with a CleanWaste bag supplied at the camp (or another appropriate plastic bag) prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. We got this idea from bathrooms used on NASA spaceships, and we've used the Tentrr Loo countless times ourselves- don't worry!

Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.

Interaction with Guests:
In the age of social distancing, isolated time can still be quality time - especially when you___re unplugged and out in nature - and we want you to know that the Tentrr team and our hosts are working together to make sure you have a safe and relaxing experience. Our hosts have been doing a great job ensuring our campsites are clean and spotless for your arrival. We ask that you do your part as well - maintain social distancing, clean up after yourselves, and leave no trace - so that everyone in our camping communities can enjoy these cherished outdoor spaces. 

To limit the potential impact of community spread during the Covid-19 pandemic, we are encouraging our campers and hosts to adopt self-check in procedures whenever possible. To make self check-in easy, Tentrr provides a map to your site and driving directions in an email sent out a few days before your reservation. Please refer to this guide to get to your campsite. As a reminder, it is good practice to give your host a head's up on your estimated arrival time a few days beforehand. If you need any assistance, you can reach out to your host through the contact information provided in your confirmation email.

Other Things to Note:
Do hike the trails throughout the 27 acre property and bring a compass. Do explore the pond and the river, and if you choose to rent a kayak, canoe, or paddle boat etc. for a minimal fee, please be aware of the safety guidelines that are part of the rental agreement, wear a life preserver and remain mindful of the small dam/waterfall down the river. 

Do enjoy the sounds of nature, and the waterfall but in the evening, please keep noise at this pastoral setting to a minimum. 

The land is sprayed for mosquitoes etc. and also has electric bug traps, but Do bring bug spray as well. 

Do watch out for poison ivy and bring calamine lotion, just in case! Do keep all food in animal safe containers

Do abide by laws pertaining to legal alcohol and drug usage, and act responsibly.

Do leave firearms at home.

Camp Brackett

This Tentrr site is outfitted with an extensive range of Coleman camping gear. Unwind in style with a large cooler, grill, shade canopy, lanterns, speaker, camp chairs, wagon, and more! (Campers must bring their own pot/skillet, cooking/eating utensils and plates.)

This campsite is situated on a ridge that overlooks the Merrimack River, and is covered by bending silver maple trees. A perfect getaway for campers looking to explore the outdoors. Just a stone's throw away from the river. Spend your days swimming in or fishing for smallmouth bass! 

You will enjoy your privacy at this campsite but are just a quick 10 minutes to the town of Nashua for those of you looking for local eateries and shops. There are also many parks and hiking trails nearby like Wildcat Falls Conservation Area, Mine Falls Park, and Benson's Park!

Please Note: The Wood Stove was not installed this year. Remember to pack extra blankets for colder nights!

Max Occupancy: This refers to the total number of campers allowed onsite with your reservation.

2 available sites within feet of Chapman Pond. One site is perfect for multiple tents or one RV/Camper. The other site has a fully stocked Bell Tent. Chapman Acres

Relax, swim and fish on a private 30 acre pond, just you and the resident beaver family. Our remote campsite is located a mile into a wooded 300 acre property surrounded by conservation land. The fishing is excellent from your choice of a row boat, canoe or two kayaks. Take a dip in the pond or unwind in a hammock overlooking the water and take in the peaceful surroundings and sounds of nature, 
Parking is just 300 feet from the campsite. We supply a wagon to help with your belongings. In addition to the on-site amenities listed, we also supply a camp stove, sink and mirror in a wooden outhouse, a dish pan, sponge, dish towel and soap, clothes line, quick lighter, citronella candles, hand sanitizer, some books, games, binoculars, can opener, scissors, grilling tools, wool blanket, two camping mattresses, cutting board and paring knives.

Bagley Pond is the perfect place to spend a quiet and restful vacation. Take some time to connect with nature while still having the comforts of home.

Please be respectful and cautious of the wildlife residents. You may see bears, moose, bobcats, coyotes, foxes etc. all of which can be dangerous. Also, please respect the land and neighboring land owners by not littering and not cutting down trees or taking fallen branches for camp fires. Fishing is allowed on the pond but is catch and release only.
You are welcome to visit our native perennial farm to learn about our farm or just relax in our barn and surrounding land. As a departing gift you may choose a native plant to take home, in season only. We are looking forward to sharing our little piece of paradise with you!
