Won't be back

Had to book at least 5 nights to stay in July and was very expensive for what you get. Extra costs everywhere. Rude workers. Awkward close sites. Not dog friendly. Not safe for little ones as there is too much traffic..vehicles and golf carts. Left early on the third day. Waste of $570. The worst camping trip we have ever had.

Beautiful campground! Too many rules. Rude office managers!

We have camped here several times and did this year after a few years away. Love the campground and it is very clean and the staff is friendly but getting rediculous as to what they consider "a family". I can see restricting the number of people on a site but should be at least 6 per site, not 4 and shouldn't matter whether they are adults or children. I can see charging a visitor fee for xtra people but not a whole other campsite fee. I made a reservation this year for 4 adults and 2 children and they took our information at that time and made the reservation and we paid in full, but then 2 weeks before our reservation we called to make sure everything was set and was told that our reservation was for too many people and that we were going to have to pay for another site. That is rediculous and I specifically asked about the number of people when I booked it. When we said we were not willing to pay any extra and wanted our money back they said they would only give us resort credit, which we were not interested in as we will not camp here again because of their restrictions on# of people and what constitutes a" family". When I spoke to the office managers about this, Caroline and Melissa, both laughed at me and told me to STFU. Can you believe it? They were so rude! Laughing at me, talking all fast like I was a dummy. They told me I had to pay or they would kick me and "my trash family" out. That's a direct quote! All we wanted to do was have a good time and let our kids run lose. The best camping weekend is when we don't have to see our kids for two days, but we know they are safe! This place had way too many rules too. Quiet hours at 10 p.m.? We are just getting into the fun at 10! We won't be back!

Great spot in the middle of nowhere

Miles and miles of country/forests surrounding pine acres, however pulling in you’ll soon realize how much goes on inside the campground. AWESOME pools (very kid friendly), parks, dog park, hiking trails and even sections off of the trails to find your own private beach on the water. Went there in a tent rather than our camper, which turned out to be better. Tent sites were very dispersed and way up on the top of the mountain. Camper sites seemed a little close but worth the sacrifice due to the incredible environment. On the more expensive side but worth the money if you have kids. Another big plus was the abundance of wood to get from fallen trees (not having to pay for the expensive bundles at the store) and the size of the fire pits

One of the best in Massachusetts

This campground is fantastic. This is the cleanest campground I have visited. Everyone is very friendly and helpful and there are lots of activities plus food trucks. If you have a boat, you can rent a dock slip too. We love it here!

Great Family Campground

Although the tent sites are a distance from anything, the main areas of the campground are fantastic. With a full calendar of events (some free, some cost $) you will never be bored. Quiet time is quiet time which is great for families.

One of our favorite places to stay

Beautiful clean campground! Great for kids and pets. We love taking the dog to the dog beach for a swim.

Camp store is great, fun fishing on the lake and tons of activities for the kids.

Nice resort

The good.....nice level site w gravel base, pea stone around camp, friendly staff, lots to do, clean all around. The not so good....A lot of sites are tight to get in. The lake beach could use a dredge so there is more sand (weedy). Mini golf course needs some upkeep. Overall a nice campground.

Mosquito Resort

Let me start off by saying this place is more of a resort than a campgroung. They have everything from go-kart/kayak rentals to mini-golf/arcade, but it all costs extra on top of the camp ground being pretty pricey, @80$/night for a tent site. On top of that the tenting area of the camp ground is over run with mosquitos , from morning to night they are all over you and I'm pretty sure they are immune to bug spray.

However they have lots of rentals and the campground is more favorable for RVers, with 80% of the sites being for RVs, and the mosquitos not being nearly as bad in those areas. The campground is huge and there's always something going on or to do. I highly recommend this place for their rentals or RVers, but its more suitable for a week than a couple days, otherwise you'll spend all your time just figuring out what there's is to do or how to get around.
