We stayed at the Lake Macatawa campground in August. The sites are small, the roads are tight, the crowd is pretty loud, and the bathrooms/showers are a bit insufficient for the campground size.
This average campground is saved by the fact that it is in an amazing location. Not far from…
The is a great place to stay. All concrete, gated, beach in a small lake, basketball court, fishing, pools, and lots of grass for the dogs. Laundry rooms and bathrooms spotless.
This is our go to spot every year! We get the same site and we have the time of our lives while we’re here!
Ok, so I might be biased because this is where I spent my summers growing up. But I’ve never found another campground with such a great mix of secluded sites, but still opportunities to meet and party with fellow camper.
Endless hiking trails and two lakes where you can fish, swim, and boat.
Nice place to stay, open sites, near the lake.
This is a campground in Yankee Spring Recreational Area in Mid-Michigan. This is a nice rustic campground near the NCT(North Country Trail).

It is a state park. There are lakes to fish, boat, kayak. Sites have lots of growth.
Holland state park has two campgrounds; Beach and Pine. Even if your planning on staying at the Beach Campground you have to register at the Pines campground office first.
The property owners are friendly and hardworking. Great fishing, amenities available. This is one of the first places I felt gave me a bang for my buck. Park near store and get great WiFi....I spent 14 days streaming, gaming and watching movies. This is campground is definitely a diamond in the…
This is a newish campground and my kids had a great time! My husband and I also were also completely satisfied with the RV area that all the sites were level and they were all pull through and everyone was facing outward towards the wooded area even though the RV area was in 2 circles I enjoyed the…
This was a nice campground right on the Kal Haven Trail - about 4 miles from South Haven. The RV camping is in a circle in the center of the campground near the bathhouse with cabins and tent camping on the perimeter. There were some very nice woods with paths leading to the Kal Haven and around…
Primitive sites are spacious, well spaced & reasonably flat. All sites are sandy with a raised fire ring, (no ground fires allowed). Walkable facilities are outhouses, although all campers may use the facilities in the RV grounds. Even if you don't need the power, etc I'd sugest the RV sites as…
We camped with a 25ft pull behind camper on lot 71. Beautiful spot, lots of privacy. However, it was a bear to back the camper into. Between the beautiful pines and the corner it was on it made the cut a tricky one. We ended up going the “wrong way” down that lane so we could get a workable angle.
This campground is like a small wide open field. The staff was super friendly, and the grounds and bathhouse were very well kept and clean. There wasn’t much too it, the site included a picnic table and fire ring (like most do). We were in the tent sites.
All Inclusive! If you love a campground 3 minutes from Lake Michigan with plenty of amenities, this is your place. The Mount Randall campground has 2 loops with all electric sites. The first loop on your left provides more privacy with pull in type shandy, sites. There are 2 or 3 small rustic…
