ScoutI love campsites, especially the lakefront. But there are only a few waterfront sites and they are very hard to get. Great for fishing, wildlife viewing and swimming. You must bring your water unless you want to hand pump it from the only central pump.
ScoutWelcoming atmosphere. Sites were crowded but had excellent tree coverage. Over half of the campground appeared to be residents who lived there full time. Bathrooms were clean. Overall, this campground meets expectations but would not be one I would return to because it feels more like a trailer park than a campground.

GuideA mostly seasonal campground that can be had to find. Super amenities with huge pool and large field with dog park, baseball field, bags, basketball and sand volleyball. Many trails to walk.
ScoutCheck in crew were real nice. Most sites have some trees. Large playground for kids if you have them. Pedestals worked fine. Plenty of garbage dumpsters. Have waste water stations and a potable water station. Plenty of park area and sites were spaced average apart. 2 dump stations are well graded so everything drains well. Shore line near by and beach a couple minutes walk. Bathrooms are just ok. Would definitely stop back.
GuideStayed just one night on our way up to the UP. Was relatively quite as it was midweek in May. Could get busy and sites are close together but no one was around. Some nice walking and birding trails from the site.
TravelerNice little campground for a little getaway, great place for camping with kids, plenty to do from swim, fish, bike the whole park, play at the park, watch movies at night in the community pavilion, campsites are nice, have electric, water and some have sewer. Prices are good.
