Overall, a great choice!

This is a national park campsite. First impressions, really good!

When you enter you pass by a ranger booth to register, etc. Definitely grab the campground map! Why? Because you are given a free handful of wood and the map will show you where to pick it up. We didn’t realize until later and…

Very nice location, nice campground

Showers rooms are every other for social distance are clean and like bathrooms cleaned daily. It is a great convenience to Acadia Nat’l Park. Water edged sites do not have sewer hook ups as most don’t for environmental reasons. I would gladly stay here again. The W/E/S operated as they should.

Great Beer, Great Food and Great People

My wife and I just spend an overnight here.  The brewery is really cool, and the wood fired pizza is some of my favorite.  The folks who run this place are really friendly and accommodating. Both my wife an I really enjoyed ourselves.

This is definitely an RV park.  The sites are close…

Just O.k.

If you want to visit the Phippsburg area of Maine, your camping options are pretty limited. We chose Meadowbrook Camping Area for the simple fact we wanted to explore that particular area of Maine. The campground has a mix of sites from tent sites tucked away in the woods to large RV sites in the…

Beautiful View

This campground has beautiful tent sites along the waters edge. The sunsets and sunrises are stunning and the stars at night (some sites have more open sky but at every site you can walk to the tide line OR can walk to the open field) are breathtaking. Nice clean showers. Friendly and helpful…

A Camden Must

Camden Hills SP is a no contest campground if you are visiting Camden and surrounding MidCoast areas. 9 out of 10 times I visit Camden (one of my favorite places in Maine), I stay at this campground. You are not only a short drive into town with shops, beaches and restaurants but also have access…

Birthday Bliss!

Was my first camping trip in a long time. This place is great and so special. We stayed for 4th of July weekend (my birthday) and even though the place was fully booked we still felt like we had the place to ourselves Most of the prime sites are nice and spread out a little from one another …

Nice for tent camping

Clean, friendly with the best views of the beautiful Somes Sound. We rented a kayak at the campground and explored the sound. The camp site was close to the bus route which, will take you all over the Island. Overall a great place to stay. Look forward to returning and staying there again.

Scenic and well maintained

We really enjoyed our stay here. It’s definitely worth it to try to get a spot on the waters edge. Gorgeous sunsets every night over the water. It’s not a short drive to Acadia hikes but worth it!

Worth the cost

I never thought I would spend 55$ a night for a campsite. There are sites that are more expensive, and sites that are cheaper but I figured why not spend the money to stay right on the water. Even sites that don't sit on the water have a great amount of space and trees. Due to Covid this was all I…

Love!!

10-15 from downtown Bar Harbor and the gorgeous Acadia NP. We vacationed here for my birthday. We had full hookups with free WiFi and cable. The kids loved playing on the playground and going down to the water at low tide. There is a kayak launch as well, and pool, but both were closed since we…

Oceanfront and Amazing Stars

We spent the night in one of the Oceanfront RV spots. The RV spots are in a very open field, but they are directly on the water. When the tide goes out you have the entire inlet to walk around in and explore. At night the stars were absolutely amazing!

Beautiful Sunsets on the Water

We staid here while visiting Acadia National Park. It’s outside the park, but not too far. While it was very crowded when we were there, we had a spot directly on the water which made it feel more private. The sunsets were absolutely gorgeous. Great bathrooms/showers, and the WiFi worked pretty…

Great location

We chanced upon this campsite on the way to Bar Harbor and decided to stay the night. It was a great location with excellent WiFi signal, clean bathrooms, for a great price.

A short hike to the top of the hill to catch a panoramic sunset view of the bay and the town, and just across the road,…

great first camping experience!

We bought our rv and headed out from Ohio the same night, on the path to get to our very first camping experience. The site we got had an awesome view of the water, and the campsites were not too close together. The facilities were clean and the hosts were super kind. Would gladly go back, just…
