Nice for one or two nights

The 30 amp sites are very close together.

The campground layout is quite unusual, with campers parked lengthwise along the road. This means that you share the space where you sit outside with the camper behind you, resulting in very little privacy. It feels cramped, and you’re constantly close to your neighbors. If you’re looking for a peaceful, secluded camping experience, this setup might not be ideal.

The facilities are ok but dated and could be cleaner. The beach is a short 15-minute walk.

For children, there is a swimming pool, a basketball court and a small playground

All in all, this is a good campground if you are on the road and want to spend a night or two exploring the area.

It was just ok.

It was an ok experience. We don’t like the campsites being sideways or parallel to the road, it feels strange. Bathrooms were down for cleaning but when they opened they smelled of bleach and still had gobs of hair in the drains of multiple shower stalls.

Consider Thousand Trails Membership for Better Value

Consider the Thousand Trails membership when booking this site. Our annual membership fees basically covered what it would cost to camp here for two weeks.

The campground has good proximity to Orchard Beach and Portland. However, the spots are pretty tight, and the WiFi is awful away from the registration office. We were in the wooded area, but those camping on the outskirts seemed able to utilize their Starlink.

The dog park and pool were small but nice. The bathroom facilities were pretty good, though they weren't cleaned as often as they should be.

Soaking up the last of October

This is a great park to enjoy the fall colors. This park has a private feel with a gated access and keypad and buzzer to let you into the park. The spots in the front are the newest area of the park and mainly available for the 50AMP consumers. This spot is central to local spots in Ogunquit, ME or Wells, ME.

Great family trip!

We took our family of 5, and my mom for a weekend getaway! It was perfect. So much to do. Women’s room by the tent sites had a couple problems, like a shower stall out of order, but not a big deal. Very quiet at night, which is helpful in such a family environment. We will definitely be back again!

Great campground on the coast in southern Maine

This is a fantastic campground. It is clean. The staff are friendly. The pool area and hot tub are open until 8pm and are at a comfortable temperature. We stayed in the newer area with larger spots near the entrance to the park. There are activities and food within walking distance. The mini golf and go cart place has bright lights in their parking area that sometimes are left on overnight, making it bright in our camper at night, definitely not a plus. Overall a great campground in a great location!

Inaugural Trip worth taking

We decided to take a first trip in our RV to Moody Beach to see how the Leprechaun handled and setup. We had a wonderful time and great experience with our first trip with our dogs. They were comfortable and curious. It was relaxing and fun. It was only the second open weekend and a few things were still being setup. We would camp here often, since it is close.

Great location friendly staff

We came in in October, the foliage is beautiful on the “wooded” sites. There are new sites with gravel and no trees as well, we had our choice. The wooded sites are pull through and back in, depending on the row. There are cabins and rentals as well. Fire pits and charcoals grills at all wooded sites. Family friendly facility with a playground. Lounge closed for Covid, pool closed for season. Events and activities are run by management. Great location for beach and stores.

Close to beaches and family friendly

Close to the beaches and main strip. You can either walk, catch the trollies or take a provided shuttle. Very family friendly. Lots of people. Not very private or secluded. Public bathrooms. Tons of activities for the kids.
