Back to nature at its best!

We've been wilderness camping on Lake Richardson with South Arm Campground for many, many years.  Wilderness camping isn't for the faint of heart, but it's a way of stepping out of the fray and reconnecting with nature.  Campground staff are kind, helpful and accommodating.   Swimming is a top notch, as is kayaking, and canoeing.  The lake is a bit boney, so take care to mind the rocks, if you are motor boating. The loon calls are like nothing I've heard anywhere else.  What an amazing experience and place to recharge!

A Real Maine Campground

We spend Labor Day weekend at the warm and friendly campground. There remote campsites along the lake. The campground is very dog friendly and being a dog owner I found that great. The campground was full, but it was quiet and having an RV we were glad to have water and electric.

this campground is just the place for boaters, fishermen, and kayakers. We have already reserved sites for next year with our friends.

This is the most peaceful and serene camping experience.

South Arm is the epitome of a relaxing get away. No cellular service, no disruptions, no traffic, no hustle and bustle. Come, relax, enjoy, explore and rejuvenate. The campground offers all the basic amenities, boat rentals, shuttle service to remote sites, a store with homemade baked goods and treats, friendly staff, and great campers.
