Nice place to be

We've only been here a few days, but first impressions mean a lot. It was raining when we got here but our site was relatively level and qe were ok until things dried up and we could finish leveling.

Sites are spacious! Connections are well placed and in good repair. Most sites are…

Bee Aware

I don’t have many complaints about this campground. There was a slight bee problem during our stay, but that’s to be expected. Most of the bathrooms in the park were closed down except for one, which our site (29) was next to. They have running hot water showers, a large basin sink outside to wash…

Pleasant river camp and gulf hagas

Perfect campsite for day hiking! We got in late and left early but had a easy set up and plenty of space to explore. Gulf Hagas trailhead with in 10 minutes from site my site. Lots of other various campsite along rivers/lakes within the area. Bring cash for the checkpoints to enter the Katahdin…

Cute place, great owners, small sites

The owners of this campground are the best. Ask them about their life story! All the things you need are there - firewood, water, bathrooms and showers, and even electricity at the site. Only thing is the sites are small and close together. I was there when it was still cold and was the only person…

My Favorite Maine Campground

I always make an effort to stay here at least one weekend a year. Peaks-Kenney is my favorite State Park to stay at. The sites are clean and quiet, the beach is humble but nice, and the lake is beautiful. I would recommend this spot to absolutely anyone.

2 1/2 Stars

Spent a week end of July. Good weather with nice breezes on a hill. Amenities a little old and tired but staff friendly and pretty quiet at night. Campsite was clean, tight to moderately spaced...a few sites have more space and nice. Small kids fishing pond, couple of small older playgrounds,…

More Glamp less Camp

Good campground for older adults. Not much in the way camping as much as it’s a community. Good for family visits, they do events for families like cookouts and dances. Very well maintained and super nice staff.

Great place for families

Great place for families. Game room, pool, you can walk a holiday if you would like. Great entertainment on the weekends. Clean bathrooms and up to date. Friendly campers. Baked bean suppers sold on Saturday night.

Alittle extreme on how they choose seasonals.

Beautiful Sebec Lake

We camped here in June and the weather was beautiful and it wasn't buggy. This campground is located in Dover-Foxcroft far enough from town to appear to be in the woodlands, but close enough to grocery stores and restaurants. We kayaked on this crystal clear lake and it was so relaxing. There are…

Great spot!

Spacious campsites with plenty of privacy. A short walk down to the beach area which offers a playground, cookout spots, and canoe rentals. Make sure to stick around and watch the stunning sunsets with views of Borestone Mountain, which is also an amazing nearby hike! The park also offers several…

Great state park camping

The bath houses are updated. Flush toilets and hot showers make this a safe bet. Swimming from the beach is great but often crowded. There are no water front camp sites but there is ample waterfront to share! head to the right of the main Beach area for more secluded water access and waterfront…

We camped over Labor Day and found the staff to be awesome. There is plenty to do in the area and the rangers and staff are more than happy to make recommendations.

Great swimming/ beach area.

The loons and owls call at night - so peaceful!

The park is very clean and every one is friendly. The…
