Woodring Branch Campground is located in the North Georgia Mountains on the beautiful Carters Lake Project, which is just a short 70 miles north of Atlanta. Carters Lake provides clean, safe, and quiet campgrounds that help you escape the hustle and bustle of your day to day routine and relax with your family. Woodring Branch offers boating, hiking, mountain biking, picnicking at the day use area, and many other summer activities. Woodring Branch has two different loop style trails from from easy to moderate. Amadahy and the Oak Ridge Nature trail will ensure a great family hiking experience as they both include a wide diversity of plants, animals, and scenic views. The campground has 2 boat ramps with limited boat trailer parking spaces for all your boating needs. Woodring branch at Carters Lake has something for everyone, no matter what your hobbies are.

## Recreation

Boaters visit Carters Lake to enjoy its solitude and scenic beauty. Whether in a powerboat or sailboat on the open water or paddling along the shoreline in a canoe, Carters Lake offers enjoyable boating experiences for everyone.  
  
Fishing is a popular activity on the lake. Major species include bass (largemouth, smallmouth, hybrid, striped and spotted), crappie, walleye, bream and catfish. Bank fishing locations are limited due to steep shoreline terrain, but six boat ramps are scattered around the shoreline, offering easy access to the lake.   
  
The Amadahy Trail is located in the Woodring Branch Recreation Area. This 3.5-mile loop is excellent for beginners with flat to rolling terrain. Bikers and hikers are treated to beautiful views of Carters Lake along most of trail's length.

This heavily wooded campground offers many sites with scenic lake views. Electric hookups are available at many of the campsites. Flush toilets, showers and drinking water are provided. Additional amenities include a children's playground and a dump station. A boat ramp and swimming area are on-site.

Unwind at Our Breathtaking, **Private Estate Camping** in the North Georgia Mountains.

Tri-Mountain Retreat is located on private property and is a 501-C3 nonprofit that was designed to expose at-risk children and disadvantaged children to the amazing outdoors.

Your stay will be tax-deductible as funds will be used by Tri-Mountain to support their summer camp programs on the property.

Located in Ellijay, Georgia, this private, unique camping experience on 450 acres is the perfect fall camping excursion, and with so many on-property amenities, you will not have to leave the property. Covering three private mountains, the property has something for every outdoor lover.

We only allow one group of campers on the property at a time, so when you stay at TriMountain, you will have the entire property to explore and enjoy with your group!

Located in Amicalola Falls State Park in Dawsonville, GA Amicalola Falls State Park is located at the southernmost point of the Appalachian Trail and possess Georgia’s tallest waterfall.

Each glamping tent features a residential style heating and air conditioning unit, ceiling fans, mini fridge, Keurig coffee maker, lamps, essential oil diffuser, table and 2 chairs, and comfy beds with all of the linens provided. You will need to provide your own towels. Central Bathhouse with 6 private restrooms and 4 private showers is a short walk from the tents. Free laundry machines on site.

Choose to relax at your glamping site with included amenities like a wood fire pit, charcoal grill, hammock, string lights, 2 outdoor chairs, and picnic table, or take part in recreation opportunities like hiking, zip-line, and archery. There are a variety of hikes available within the park for all experience levels of hikers, including stroller and wheelchair accessible trails. Totally Off-grid, Offline, Private, Natural retreat weekend

Enjoy your completely private, secluded camping experience on over 20 forested acres in the foothills of Blueridge Mountains. We are in Northern Georgia near the tiny town of Fairmount, between Jasper, Cartersville, and Calhoun, GA. You will be our ONLY GUESTS for the entire weekend!

When you arrive, your tent will already be set up, and your air mattress bed turned down, welcoming you to enjoy your first night under the stars. That evening, we suggest winding down by maybe reading a book, or curling up by the fire to be mesmerized by its flames. With no traffic or light pollution, you may find some of the best star gazing ever. Then the night sounds of the forest will soothe you into a night of restful sleep.

We love kids, but this is a retreat designed for ADULTS. There are cliffs and drop-offs near the campsite that are not safe for children. Adults with disabilities should contact us in advance of booking to make sure you are comfortable with the physical demands of spending the weekend camping on this raw, wild property. Pathways and trails are uneven and rocky in spots, and some trails are steep.

MUST LOVE DOGS! Our property is owned by four dogs, two goats, and a cat who let us live with them! Our dogs and cat roam freely on the property and the goats may be offended if you don’t at least say hello.

Off-grid and Offline means: NO electricity, NO indoor plumbing, NO Wi-Fi

(This kind of weekend is not for everyone, and that’s OK!)



Off-grid and Offline also means: You will be staying on a ridge with a panoramic view of the forest and mountains like none other. You will experience no traffic, no city noise. Just quiet, peace, and wild nature.

We live in our tiny, off-grid house on the first ridge. You will be able to see it from your campsite on the second ridge. Please do let us know before you stop by though, because we shower outside! We will provide a walkie-talkie should you need to contact us, and otherwise, we will respect your privacy and the entire second ridge will be yours! If you would like to hike to the creek or explore the rest of the 20 acres, just let us know and we will direct you to the trailhead.

Going without your phone is encouraged, but optional, of course, though you may not have a signal either way. We provide walkie-talkies for safety, and we personally have phone service in case of emergencies.

You may bring your own alcohol and we are 420 friendly. Please just keep it at your campsite, consume responsibly and in moderation to preserve your nature experience. There are steep inclines, rocks and stumps that may cause injury to an inebriated camper! Also, clean up cans/bottles and any other waste every day and night.



On this lovely weekend, you may want to hike, bird watch, meditate, sketch, read or just relax on the ridge with the scenic overlook that is all yours.

Some items to remember to bring:

o	All food for the weekend. We are a remote location, so you won’t be able to just run into town for supplies.

o	Sleeping bags or sheets, blankets, pillows. It sometimes gets cold on the mountain at night, so prepare to bundle up.

o	Dishwashing supplies. Dawn soap is the only soap allowed for dish washing, as it is safe for the environment.

Penalty Fees: Please avoid these at all costs. We are assuming the kind of people who want to camp off-grid and offline are also the kind of people who will respect nature and others.

Fort Mountain State Park is a place of legends. Literally! Home to an mysterious, ancient, rock wall at the peak of a mountain, Fort Mountain’s associated legends include the construction of a Welsh military fort, a honeymoon destination for native newlyweds, and a relation to “moon-eyed people” of Cherokee folklore. Whatever the truth may be, there is no denying that this park’s unique features have made it one of the major draws within the Chattahoochee National Forest. 

Located just a short scenic drive off of Highway 52 near the Cohuatta Wilderness, the campground at Fort Mountain State Park hosts 70 campsites for tents and RVs. Campers can bring their paddles to take advantage of all 17 acres of Fort Mountain Lake, or take part in the local rental program for easier travels. 

While there is no need to leave the park to find adventure, many campers take a short drive east to a historic site featuring the Chief Vann House. This well-preserved structure was the first Cherokee brick residence and is often referred to as the “showplace” of the Cherokee Nation. Continue your travels to the peak of Fort Mountain where you can take a tour of a stone fire tower built by the Civilian Conservation Corps during the Great Depression. Enjoy panoramic views and marvel at the legendary beauty of Fort Mountain State Park.

Honea's Holler site 1 offers - A beautiful fully stocked bell tent with a Queen size bed, - with the option of 2 additional twin blow up mattress, if requested. (Or you are welcome to bring your own) Everything is Battery operated and solar powered - lights are lining the trail and light up the outhouse as well. A wood burning stove in the tent with plenty of wood to keep you toasty in the winter months. Out door seating areas and a picnic table with log bench around the fire pit. A charcoal grill and fire grates are provided for cooking tasteful meals, Along with most all cooking utensils, cast iron, etc . A camp coffee maker and some instant coffee varieties are available.

Enjoy a private Outhouse with a small solar shower and sink fully stocked with jugged water, soaps, and tp!

Don't forget to add on some farm fresh eggs for your breakfast! -schedule your farm tour and victor the llama visits directly with Plante ponderosa farm.

Our wonderful fully stocked bell tent is nestled in the woods, in between our private entrance and our partners Plante Ponderosa's farm main entrance. You may see other guests coming and going as it is a working farm with other spaced out camp sites. No running water but there is a small \*sometimes\* dry creek running through the property. No fishing but we have plenty of recommendations if you ask us! We are 7 to 10 mins from interstate I- 75. 1 hour to atl. 15 mins to Rome or calhoun for restaurants.

Nestled in the foothills of the Appalachians, your private, wooded campsite has additional touches for added comfort-propane heat, electricity for a light, and an outlet for charging your phone. Enjoy a relaxing fire under starlit skies to end each day and spend time in your peace-inducing, energy healing space. Visit the yoga barn and use the space and equipment to stretch and meditate.  You are welcome to walk the propertyand while you are walking, you may meet my bottle-fed, Nubian goat, Moonpie or see any of the other farm animals including 4 entertaining goats, 6 gentle horses, 2 adorable miniature horses, and sweet dogs and kitties.  Soak up the beauty around you as you encounter nature up close and personal; from bunnies to deer and a variety of birds; guests are encouraged to walk around and explore freely. Your site includes a canvas tent with a queen-sized, memory foam bed; camp table, campfire grill, fire pit, Adirondack chairs to enjoy the views; showers by appointment with host, a shared but clean port-a-potty, trash cans, and a fire extinguisher for added safety.

Gorgeous Queen City Lake is only 2 miles away where you can enjoy fishing and kayaking to your hearts delight. Located 45 minutes outside Chattanooga, Ruby Falls, and Rock City.  Just 30 minutes from Cloudland Canyon State Park where you can hike and see canyons, cliffs, caves, waterfalls, abundant wildlife, and more!  28 minutes from Chickamauga Battlefield where you can soak up the area's rich history; and 13 minutes from Lafayette golf club.  Caving and rock climbing are popular and if you are here during our growing season, check out our local Walker County Farmer's market in Lafayette.

The Space:

Guest Access:
This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with land owners to offer unique accommodations in beautiful outdoor spaces. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature! 

Your Tentrr campsite includes a 10'x12' (120 square feet) safari-style canvas tent on a raised wooden platform. Inside the tent you'll find one queen bed with a memory foam mattress. The tent is big enough for the bed plus one or two extra sleeping bags on the floor. Aside from the canvas tent, campers can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that___s provided. You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night. 

Max Occupancy: This refers to the total number of campers allowed onsite with your reservation. 

Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. To use, line the bucket with a CleanWaste Sani-Bag supplied at the camp prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean.

Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.

-A cooler to keep your grub from spoiling 
-Bedding and pillows (also available for an extra fee)

Interaction with Guests:
Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location.

If a Tentrr Host submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the host's property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!

Reservation Modifications/Cancellations: Please note the terms of the cancelation policy as they are outlined in your confirmation email. Your Tentrr Host is unable to change or cancel your reservation on your behalf, and they are unable to waive any cancellation fees (if applicable). If you have any questions regarding modifications to your booking, please reach out to Tentrr Customer Support.

Other Things to Note:
Please do not feed the goats or horses.  Please take all trash with you, leave no trace.  No food inside tent, and fire only in the dedicated firepit.  If you use the metal trash bin make sure the lid is very tightly secured because of wildlife. Port -a-potty is near the goat barn.  It is cleaned weekly.

Your site includes a canvas tent with a queen-sized, memory foam bed; camp table to enjoy meals cooked at the campfire grill or fire pit; adirondack chairs to enjoy the views; a sun shower to start your morning right; trash cans and toilet (Tentrr Loo) for your convenience; and a fire extinguisher for added safety.  

I am more than happy to recommend nearby activities in the area, so please feel free to ask.  I am 45 minutes outside Chattanooga, Ruby Falls, and Rock City.  Just 30 minutes from Cloudland Canyon State Park where you can hike and see canyons, cliffs, caves, waterfalls, abundant wildlife, and more!  28 minutes from Chickamauga Battlefield where you can soak up the area's rich history; and 13 minutes from Lafayette golf club.  Gorgeous Queen City Lake is only 2 miles away where you can enjoy fishing and kayaking to your hearts delight.  

The Space:
Serene glamping tent with beautiful views, on horse & goat farm-just 2 miles from Queen City Lake, where you can fish & kayak and 45 minutes from Chattanooga. 

Guest Access:
This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with land owners to offer unique accommodations in beautiful outdoor spaces. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature! 

Your Tentrr campsite includes a 10'x12' (120 square feet) safari-style canvas tent on a raised wooden platform. Inside the tent you'll find one queen bed with a memory foam mattress. The tent is big enough for the bed plus one or two extra sleeping bags on the floor. Aside from the canvas tent, campers can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that___s provided. You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night. 

Max Occupancy: This refers to the total number of campers allowed onsite with your reservation. 

Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. To use, line the bucket with a CleanWaste Sani-Bag supplied at the camp prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean.

Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.

-S'mores supplies & any food you'd like to eat
-A cooler to keep your grub from spoiling 
-Bedding and pillows (also available for an extra fee)

Interaction with Guests:
Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location.

If a Tentrr Host submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the host's property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!

Reservation Modifications/Cancellations: Please note the terms of the cancelation policy as they are outlined in your confirmation email. Your Tentrr Host is unable to change or cancel your reservation on your behalf, and they are unable to waive any cancellation fees (if applicable). If you have any questions regarding modifications to your booking, please reach out to Tentrr Customer Support.

Other Things to Note:
Please do not feed the goats or horses. Please take all trash with you, leave no trace.  No food inside tent, and fire only in the dedicated firepit. 
Sorry in advance:
Remove human waste from potty, tie tightly, and place in tin trashcan next to tent. Please double check for a trash liner in tin can.
