Nice Rv/tent campground

This is a great place to camp, we enjoy staying here they also have some tent sites, wifi is a bit spotty which is to be expected since everyone is trying to use it so either use your hotspot or a mobile internet provider and you will be fine, dog park was well kept, playground has plenty of options for the little ones, the splash pad was a hit for our little ones as they enjoyed it, check in was a breeze as the office folks are very informative as to the surrounding place’s you can visit all really at a relatively short drive…your close to your neighbor but not to close “if that makes since”….will definitely stay here again

Beautiful and peaceful

We just finished our third RV trip at 411 River Rest CG—which was our seventh trip there over the past few years.  The campground is pretty and extremely well maintained.  The Coosawattee River is beautiful, as are the big trees that are a part of the facility.  The exceptionally large and tall sycamores are particularly nice!  The owners are friendly and they’re involved on a daily basis with the operations.  We already have two trips scheduled for 411 RR CG for next year!

Amazing!

This was our first camping trip in our “new to us” camper. It was my husband, our 4 year old son, our 5 month old daughter, and myself. We had the best time at this campground. Staff was SO kind and delivered firewood to our campsite. They also delivered pizza we ordered to our campsite. General store was stocked and very nice. Playground was awesome and very big. We also appreciated the law enforcement/military discount. 10/10 recommend!

Fantastic stop

Jackie and Anne waited for us after hours to receive us. They have a beautiful property. Nice bathhouse. Clean and with hot water. Very close to the highway, but quite and well maintained.

Very nice campground in N. Georgia

For summer vacation, my family wanted to spend one day rafting the Ocoee River and one day at Six Flags in Atlanta. We picked this campground due to its location in between and within an 1-1.5hr drive of both activities. Turned out to be a great decision!

Pros: VERY nice facilities (camp store, bath houses, playground), hospitable owners/staff, kid & pet friendly

Cons: the provided Wi-Fi was unreliable on back edge of campground (AT&T cell signal was fine)

A Beauty in the making!!

This campground is very nice at the moment of this review with the potential to become exceptional. It is currently been open about 5 months and construction is still ongoing. The bathhouses are exceptional. A very nice playground for the kids and a splash pad is in the plans for the near future. A free run doggie park is currently being laid out and should be completed soon. They are currently building their office/store and plan on offering propane refill service. There is a nice catch and release fishing pond on property. The sites are very level and we didn't have to level the axles at all. Sites are roomy and well laid out. The owners and staff go above and beyond to make their guests feel welcome and also to be helpful to your needs. We look forward to visiting here again and seeing the progress of this future gem! This will be a 5* campground when they get further along in the construction process!

Great new campgroud

We just picked up our travel trailer on 8/21 and had to give it a trial run. It was hard to find a place that allowed 1 night that still had reservations but based on positive feedback on the Georgia RV FB group I found this place. They have been open 5 weeks and half of it was under construction but it had no impact on the place. It is right along the Coosawattee River on Hwy 411. Sites are big and spread out OK. There are showers on site and a nice playground, and coming soon a real office and 20 more sites. Several full hook up, pull through, river front, etc. The owners are incredibly nice, helped me back in and gave great pointers. They also stopped by to check on everything just before dark.
