Hi! My name is Rafael Braune and I own this precious property at Groveland and I’m glad I can share this with you! If you are looking for a peaceful and quiet place our place is what you need. Bring your rv or tend, or stay in one of our rvs! We are located in a rural area of Groveland, in the Green Swamp area. We love camping, so we decided to have our own “campground” in our 50 acres property and share it with people who share our passion! Rural doesn’t have to mean far of everything. It’s true that we have no neighbors around but we are not away from everything: we are very close to Disney (around 30 minutes) and less than 10 minutes from grocery stores and restaurants. Feel free to fish in our private 15 acres pond! Wildlife can be seen everywhere! Cranes, deers, wild turkeys, hogs and more can be easily spotted. If you love nature and wildlife, you gonna love this place!

Pull in and set up in our pasture where you will be greeted by a few friendly goats and maybe a cow walking by. Climb a tree or sit under its cool canopy. You can always choose to soak up that Florida sun.

Explore the wetlands with cypress trees and lots of hawks and other native Florida birds. It’s a very quiet area away from traffic or neighbors. We have a bathroom in our barn venue available on weekdays.

Campfires are allowed within local regulations.

Edward Medard Park has 42 first-come, first-served campsites that accommodate both RV and tent camping. All campsites have a picnic table, electricity, a fire ring, and water. Public restrooms with showers and an RV dump station are also available.

Well-known for its natural spring which flows year-round, cool, clean water into the Alafia River, the Lithia Springs Park was originally purchased by Gardinier, Inc., a mining company that soon became Mosaic Phosphate, Inc. When the company leased the park to Hillsborough County as a recreational area in 1957, the 160-acre site slowly became a popular camping spot.

After setting up camp, hikers can explore the woodsy trails and its diverse plant communities, river cypress swamps, and hardwood hammocks. But it is the natural spring that serves as the park’s major attraction, which---courtesy of the water’s 72 degree temperature---provides an excellent swimming experience all year long. In addition to swimming, visitors can fish and play volleyball. There is also a bath house for the parents to rest and chat, while their kids can play at the park’s playground.

The park’s 44 camping sites---which is also suitable for RVs---include water/shower and electrical services. The campers also have access to picnic shelters and tables, restrooms, and barbecue grills. There are no reservations for these sites; everything is done on a first-come, first-serve basis.

-Picnic shelters are not rented for the months April - September.
-All shelters, tables and grills and parking spaces are first come first serve
-Due to the high demand of the swimming area and current conditions maximum capacity is 
-No rain checks / refunds
