You only have to drive a half hour north of Eureka Springs to enjoy a peaceful fishing paradise. Amongst the rolling green hills of the Ozarks, Roaring River State Park stands out as one of Arkansas’s favorite recreational areas.





There is a wide array of camping options with full RV hookups and several loops from which to choose. Dump stations, hot showers, and free Wi-Fi round out the amenities at this gorgeous spot.

2. Table Rock

Located in Missouri’s most popular tourist towns – Branson – Table Rock State Park is the perfect way to explore the town and the beautiful countryside. State Park Marina rents boats or guides to help you explore the lake.

Amenities include basic sites or full hookups. If you and your family need some more space, book a platform tent site or a family one. Hot showers, sanitary dumps, and full hookups make staying at Table Rock enjoyable and easy.

You can’t get any closer to Eureka Springs than this RV park, less than a block from the city limits and only a 5-minute drive to The Great Passion Play, one of the area’s main draws.

Wanderlust RV Park can handle the large rigs – up to 84’ – or provide a quiet spot for tent campers who want to get away from it all. Stay on Ridge Row for gorgeous sunset vistas.

Fishing, paddling, or just lazing the day away, Beaver Lake Hide A Way is a perfect way to spend your downtime. With gorgeous limestone cliffs towering above you, pine trees all around, and 487 miles of shoreline to explore, you will feel rejuvenated and uplifted at the end of your stay.

The Hide A Way can accommodate rigs up to 80’ and has showers, laundry, a pool, a playground, and a covered pavilion for larger parties.

Cradled in the heart of the Ozarks, The Farm – Campground & Events has all the amenities to keep you comfortable and happy, with stunning views and a range of diversions.

Enjoy fishing on Beaver Lake, Table Rock Lake, or the White River for some of the best bass and trout fishing in the area. Showers and dump stations are conveniently stationed, and there are water and electric hookups on-site.

6. Steel Creek Campground – Buffalo National River

Just over an hour outside Eureka Springs, Arkansas, you’ll find this fantastic campground. If you’re lucky enough, you may even see a herd of majestic elk running by on your visit. You can walk to the river from your campsite, and there is a widevariety of hiking trails available to visitors of all levels.

Steel Creek Campground includes 26 tent-only sites and 26 sites big enough for RVs but with no hookups. There are also equestrian sites for those camping with their horse. No showers, but seasonal water is available.

Even though this is a city park, it still is roomy enough to make you feel as if you’re getting away from it all, even though you’re only 12 minutes from downtown Eureka Springs.

Lake Leatherwood City Park offers full hookups for RVs under 30’, tent sites, showers, and sites close to the lake (beware of flooding in the wetter months). Hikers, bird-watchers, and those who wish to relax love this convenient state park.
