Best RV Parks & Resorts near Lilliwaup, WA

This is very much an RV park and not really a campground. Seems like a clean little park, but right in the middle of Lynnwood, so if you are looking for a rural setting this isn't for you. 

They offer weekly and monthly rentals, so this is more of a long-term sort of place.

• Pet friendly(limit 2) not to exceed 25 lbs. Aggressive breed restrictions apply. 
• No conversion vehicles - sorry van and bus life people 
• No trailers larger than 35' long, ideally.

This RV park has full-hook up and dry camp sites for SKP members.

The location is a bit remote hence very quiet. I like that it's only about 10-12 minutes to Port Townsend, a bustling everything-you-could-possibly want hip town. Perfect for my tastes and needs. I dry camp which costs $7.50/nt.

If you just need a place to sleep, then it will do. Set up, do your thing, and move on. They will squeeze you into any corner left - literally.

But to stay, no way. The place is too muddy, the laundry room and showers are little better than free public sites. If you have to be in Seattle there are not many options. That's how they get away with such dingy offerings. They just want your money: charge a lot for sites, hope you will buy something in the boutique, and they do not spend any of it on basic structure (like fixing broken roads)

The bird sanctuary adjacent is also a bug factory. One person claimed 'this is not camping'. That's right. It's a cheap way to travel. And for some migrant workers, a cheaper way to live. The park is full of old RV's, permanently parked.

The staff is annoyed to deal with customers.

If anyone should be able to set up a new RV park, customers would flock to it! They'd leave this dump in a heart beat!!

As my grandma used to say, 'all dressed up with a dirty neck'. In other words, first clean yourself up. The dress nicely. This place dresses up with cute signs - but underneath its falling apart.

Fix the roads and learn that your customers are your best asset. Be happy to greet them and care for them. That is the secret to a long term business.

Called and talked to the team at midway today inquiring about guests coming into town. They’re a long term only location with 6 months or more as the minimum stay. They recommend angle lake RV down the street which I’ll add to the app next. Nice staff at Midway if you need long term!

The RV park is next to the beach with nice full hookup pull through sites. I would stay here again.

Clean bathrooms, shower had good water pressure. Good sized grassy patches between most sites and some pretty, old trees. Mountain scenery in the background is beautiful. Only complaint is the water pressure for the RV hookup seemed low. There also is very little privacy.

Good little camp ground on post with almost everything you need. It is in the wilderness, on the lake, but it is also fairly close to stores and gas stations. Long term max is 28 days per spot. All hookups available trash laundry showers bathrooms fire pits as well as grills all in each spot

This is a large campground with all the of camping options. They have tent sites, platform tents, cabins and RV hookups. This is located on both the Hood Canal and the Dosewallips river. This provides lots of activities like hiking, fishing, clam digging and exploring. There are several camp sites located on the river. The campground is well maintained year round.

Always drove by on our way to other campgrounds but decided to stay over. Day use area is on the Hood Canal and very nice. Campground borders a busy highway and traffic noise is bad. Some nice campsites in a wooded loop along a nice little creek for tenters. Rv hookup sites are close together. Might be better if you were camping with friends next to you.

With pre-Covid recreation sites for Kayaking, boating, scuba diving, paragliding and fishing - this was quite a unique Historical State Park. Reservations are handled through the WA State Parks reservation system. Day use Discovery Pass is required for access ($10 or $30 annually). Located adjacent to the US Naval Magazine on Indian Island.

Three separate camping areas. The RV park is tightly packed with full hookups, dump site down the road. Loops A and B are dry sites with restroom buildings and water spigots. The camping loops are quiet, nestled in the woods with good campfire rings and tables. B55 was great for a smaller camper, our Aliner Ranger fit great with the tow vehicle perpendicular. Some of the sites accommodated larger Airstreams, while some just a car with tent areas away from parking. Overall awesome spot.

Most of the campsites her won’t accommodate a camper plus tow vehicle length of greater than about 30 feet maximum. For those tent, can or teardrop trailer camping, this is a great, clean place to camp especially because it’s First Come First Served and a ways away from the busier campgrounds to the West In Olympic National Park. No hookups but there’s water and you’re only about 6 miles from downtown Port Angeles. That’s close enough to drive for a coffee if you’re not very diehard of a camper. The sites are mostly shaded, the pull-ins are paved (but short). Hiking trails start right from the campground and Hurricane Ridge is 10 minutes up the mountain. Only complaint was some obnoxiously loud group pulling in at about 11PM and parking overnight in a closed campsite. Picture a couple of banks of bright truck mounted flood lamps and a midnight picnic for a group of starving kids on a Friday night. Of course they left early in the morning before the rangers arrive. But, pretty much could happen anywhere.

There are several long term campers here. The grounds are kept immaculate and they regularly update the sites.  They hang wreaths for the winter holidays. Lawns mowed weekly. 

All are level gravel. All have grass area, some with patio pad. There is a dog walk area and they are currently creating a dog fenced area at the end orf the two rows. 

A caretaker is on site and will often help guide rigs into the sites (all are back-in). 

Close to Poulsbo (a cute, Norwegian heritage town), Seattle ferry via Bainbridge Island and just over an hour to the Olympic National Park via the Hood Canal Bridge.

Now I’m not one to camp in an RV but I honestly can say if I was going to sissy-camp with an RV it would be at Sequim Bay.

They have a beautiful facility with many public restrooms and showers, RV hookups for both power and water, and easy to park lots. They also offer tent camping lots if that would be a preferred route.

It’s a quick jaunt to the shoreline, either from conventional trails or a bit off the path if that’s what you like (which, obviously, I do!) and has a boat launch and docking space for public access. Fishing and shellfish harvesting is legal while in season and I gotta say the beaches really pulled through as we harvested our own meals for the entire trip!

We decided to go a bit too early for swimming, being only May, but we still managed to get some kids to try our floaters in the Bay. They came back frozen but happy, and the adults were glad for a bit of silence, I’m sure.

overall a great place to have a late Springtime adventure!
