Great park

We had a secluded site which is perfect for a dog. It’s quiet in the park and there’s no major highway close by. The staff is great!

Safe & Fun!

This was my 2nd time camping here! I love how safe and family friendly it is. I camped alone with my dog and I had zero issues. The trails are fun to explore, and the camping area is well maintained.

Welcoming and Cozy

Helpful and welcoming family staff, variety of sites to accomodate your rig, funky hillside but fully comfortable facilities, very well maintained. What's not to love here? Great location for exploring the north Olympic or prep to catch the ferry to Vancouver Island. Oh, and do not miss pizza night if you are lucky enough to be there for one! Warmest review I've ever given, well deserved.

My best friend and I decided to camp away for a night. We walked the trails and found the most beautiful lookout of the Elwha River! The area was very clean, cute and friendly! Tons of families with kids around. Also it has Wi-Fi, bathrooms/showers & laundry! I will be coming back 😁✨

First Family Camping Outing

We are a family of four (Twins 5yo) who decided it’s time to experience the “Great Outdoors!” We couldn’t have asked for a better experience than Elwha campground! We were immediately met with a warm welcome and information all about the campground and places withing walking/driving distances to visit. Directions couldn’t have been more clear and welcoming! The entire campground is extremely safe and accommodates everything you would need like games, activities, hikes, washer/dryer, Club house and more! It was even a nice touch to see our fire pit filled with logs wrapped in plastic. This will be a staple for our family to come out and visit! Couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience. FYI: 2 night tent stay

Also we didn’t get a chance to try the electric bikes but that will be a must on the next visit.

Excellent experience with caring and attentive staff

We stayed there for several months, the park is very clean and well maintained. The staff genuinely cares about providing a positive experience for their guests. For example, we had an issue with our electric hookups on the afternoon of Thanksgiving and they were there to fix it within 15 minutes of our call to the after-hours help number. The location is great. You have easy access to a wide variety of recreation options nearby and only a short drive to town. Facilities were always clean and the staff would regularly make recommendations for activities in the area. We would absolutely stay there again.

Very friendly staff

I’m a tent camper- the sites are not level, my fire ring was way too small. Branches need to be cut back. And sites are crammed in there, so, hopefully you’ll have a nice neighbor. Showers need quarters. Only one main bathhouse, they have porta-potties in some areas. The hosts are very nice and there’s free coffee. They had live music, which was nice. Seemed to be a good family/kid friendly place. They accept pets. I would’ve given a higher score had the showers been free and the sites a bit better.

Hello Heather, thank you for you review and feedback!

We are always working to improve, so I will gladly pass your feedback to our development team.

We do our best to offer an all-inclusive experience as much as we can, such as our campground garden, pet stations, Wi-Fi, etc.

Because our water is limited by our well, we do monitor water use with quarters, but work to keep the cost low at four quarters per shower. We hope this didn't take away from your overall experience.

Hope to see you the next time you are in the area!

Love is in the little things

This campground is beautiful but what makes it so special is how caring the host are. We arrived late and didn’t expect anybody to still be available. But even at almost 10 PM David was there for us and helped us find the perfect site. Everything is clean and well taken care of. There is a beautiful vegetable garden where you can help yourself to lettuce leaves and wonderful herbs, a clean laundry room and community kitchen and free coffee in the morning. And very hot showers with great pressure. This campgrounds close to all the special sites in the Olympic national park and to Port Angeles. Everyone in the host family is happy to give you great recommendations. We biked along the north side of Crescent Lake (Spruce Railroad Trail).

Convenient location

Elwha RV was a great spot located close to Olympic NP, water activities and Port Angeles. The campground was incredibly clean and well cared for. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Definitely stop by the front desk and ask for recommendations of the area.

I was in a tent spot (22) and it was good to be slightly away from the RVs. The spots are pretty small, so don’t plan to spread out.

Hello Missy,

Thank you for your review!

We enjoyed hosting your stay during your Olympic National Park adventure!

We are always happy to offer recommendations on the area.

We have a variety of tent site sizes, though sites do book up un advance in July, so we may have have limited availability when you stayed with us. So glad you enjoyed the privacy of those sites.

Pretty good

Somebody here clearly cares about this business: the beautiful garden, the helpful sheet with nearby attractions and restaurants, a community kitchen where you’re invited to stop by for a hunk of bread. We got a tent site for our camper van as we did not require hookups. The site was ample but not very private, and the only bathroom anywhere near was a porta potty that could have used a bit more attention. And I am really tired of campgrounds that post “please recycle” signs and do not provide recycle bins.

Would rate 10/5 if I could. Community garden is a free for all! Places to play with basketballs, volleyballs, and everything you can dream of from a campsite. GREAT selection of puzzles. I liked the cardinal ravensburger one. Yes, Im a puzzle fan 🧩 Easy access to the Olympics (hurricane ridge). Owned by GREAT people, who were so kind, that they offered us a fresh orange pepper. We also took a zucchini and a teeny tiny broccoli 🥦 So delicious 😋🤤 Our site was covered around by bushes from other sites, and veryyyyyyy private. Easy access to potable turlet 🚽🪠

Great hidden gem

This had to be one of the best campgrounds we found in our two month motorcycle trip. Yes there are fancier grounds, but this campground is made exceptional due to its owners and their emphasis on customer service. We stayed extra days and although they were full made accommodations for us. Showers are great. The kitchen is exceothey provide and allow you to borrow just about any kitchen utensil you might need. They offer a community garden, so feel free to gather at no cost fresh veggies. We will be back Chris ensured that with his great hospitality and helpfulness.  This area doesn’t get the frequent rains . It was perfect weather and scenery was magnificent.

Great place

There are lots of different options from tent sites to cabin rentals. Owners were very welcoming and accommodating. They have a veggie garden to share, lots of outdoor activity areas and places to explore within walking distance. It’s a great base camp for exploring the peninsula. They do a good job of providing privacy with the smaller RV spaces. WiFi is good, not great but that’s not why we’re there. We will be back!

Thank you for staying with us and for your review!

Family business. Super nice people with allot of amenities. Play equipment for the kids along with family outside & inside games. They offer free produce to the campers from their garden & free movie rentals.
The spaces were a little tight but for a few nights - it’s worth it.
