Great Campground with Full Hookups, Laundry and Clean Showers

Eagle Tree has been home during the quarantines and lockdowns. As full time travelers, staying in one campground for more than a few weeks was a scary proposition. We have found the atmosphere and staff here have been great. Through weather emergencies and freezing pipes, the staff have been able to keep our amenities available, clean and safe.

The camp store is open 6 days a week, with a wide selection of food, drinks, and camping supplies.

We are 15 minutes from the Seattle ferry terminal, yet have access to a trail network that will have you feeling like civilization is miles away.

The laundry is the hidden gem. At half the cost of the local laundromats, and with twice the machines I’m used to at a campground this size, I always have clean towels.

Not a great night

Our site was next to the highway and had some noise. The worst was the dogs in the adjacent rig who kept barking for 2 hours straight. The owners weren’t home and the campground has no after hours number to contact with problems. What if there was an emergency? In the morning, I complained at the front desk and they were less than sympathetic. Before leaving I called and left a message again about the bad night we had. They called back and apologized and refunded our night’s stay. Overall, if you can get a site away from the highway, and barking dogs, it’s probably an okay place to stay.
