Minutes from the historic town of Jim Thorpe, PA, Camptel Poconos is situated alongside Hickory Run State Park with direct access to hiking paths. While on property enjoy visits from deer, wild turkeys, rabbits and an occasional black bear. You may never want to leave this little place in the woods!

Join us at Pocono Point RV and Campground for your next camping or RV getaway. We offer spectacular views from our mountain top tent sites and the sounds of the water in our creekside tent sites. Bring your RV and stay with us in our full hookup 30/50 amp pull through or back in sites. We offer a wide range of amenities including pool, clubhouse equipped with retro arcade games, pool table, media room, laundry facilities, bathouse, and vending machines. Speak with our friendly staff and stock up on firewood and ice in our camp store.



Pocono Point

A convenient way to camp outdoors. Enjoy a 16' specious bell tent that can accommodate up to 5 people on our 20 acres of rolling hills. Just an hour and a 10 minutes away from Philadelphia and less than 2 hrs from Newark airport. The property is overlooking the beautiful Oley valley and has convenient paths to roam around and enjoy the open fields, nature, views. There are fishing locations around, restaurants, bars, and local produce joints, anywhere between 5-20 min driving in all directions.

The canvas bell tent has a king-size bed (2 Twin XL) bed and 2 extra single mattresses. There is enough space for 1 more person to sleep on the floor with a sleeping bag, if needed.



**Wood stove**

The newest addition to this tent is a heavy duty wood stove that will keep you warm and cozy in the cold nights. Bring your own wood or get it from us for $10 a pack. We recommend anywhere between 2-4 packs for a good warm night. Depends how hot you want to be and how cold it is outside .



**Electricity**

The campsite can be used as a primitive one or a luxurious one. In case you wish to use electricity, there is a quiet generator next to the site that you are welcome to use for an extra small fee of $15 per day, gasoline included. You can use the generator to light the camp with the string light hanging above the tent and kitchen, charge your electronics, connect your boombox, or anything else.



**Bonfire**

There is a very cool fire pit that you can use.

In case you would like to get warm without a bonfire and smoke there is a small propane outdoor heater that you can use like the bonfire.



**Kitchen**

The kitchen is equipped with a grill/smoker, a big cooler, and a serving table.

There is a cast iron skillet, small pot to boil water, spatula, serving spoon and fork, utensils for 4 people, and cups. There are grill tools as well. Bring your own oil, salt pepper, etc.

In the winter we do not have running water on site. We will supply you 5 gallons of fresh water from our well to use and will refill as needed.

Thank you for washing the dishes when you're done and disposing the garbage bag at the exit of the property is very much appreciated.



**Restroom/Shower**

The shower doesn't work during the winter. The restroom is a porta-potty and is located a 1-minute walk from the campground.



You will also find on the premises paths to enjoy a walk, explore the space, and enjoy the stunning views of Oley Valley from the swing at the top of the hills. If you are interested in exploring the area around Oley Valley, let us know and we will give you a map of the local attractions.

​Much of the natural design of the land has been retained which makes for a beautifully wooded campground with most sites surrounded by a small grove of trees. 50 acres of beauty, our campground sits at the base of the Dixon Miller Recreation Area (Elevation 2212ft) which is one of the highest accessible points overlooking the Pocono Plateau.

Opened in 2004, this membership-only, LGBTQIA+ camping resort, exclusively for the 18-and-older crowd, is located on 161 private acres with streams, a four-acre lake, and spacious campsites.

We have a variety of sites for seasonal campers, trailers, and popup campers, as well as tent camping. We are Big Rig friendly with many pull through sites, wide entrance roads and up to 50 amp electric. There are also cabins and tiny homes available for short-term rental.

Amenities include a huge camp store, dance club, restaurant, free wi-fi, a huge pool area, volleyball courts, hiking trails, 7 bathroom facilities and loads of planned activities!



The Woods Camping Resort

Fireflies illuminate Pennsylvania summer nights. Cricket song fills the air. In Autumn, a motley blaze of red and yellow leaves streaks the hillsides as a rich, earthy scent permeates the woods. Through all seasons, gurgling brooks and creeks weave their way through the countryside. Secret glens and mossy pools await. For centuries this landscape has attracted lovers of the outdoors, and there's no limit to opportunities for camping in Pennsylvania. 


An indescribable yet unmistakably ancient energy fills Pennsylvania's wildernesses. It can be felt clearly in places like Bushkill Falls. There, in the "Niagara of Pennsylvania," explorers of all ages find fun and discovery. 


A broad network of trails leads to and around eight beautiful waterfalls. The Twin Lakes wait for anglers. Curious travelers can explore three different historical exhibits, sluice for gemstones, or try their luck in the Bushkill Falls Mining Company Maze. Some people claim that if you stand still, close your eyes, and listen, you can feel the history ebbing and flowing around your feet at Bushkill Falls. 


Pennsylvania's enormous population of majestic whitetail deer offer great surprises for nature-lovers camping in Pennsylvania. With a closely monitored population ranging from 1 to 1.5 million, Pennsylvania's white tail are famous for their size, grace, and beauty. Alert hikers and campers will likely catch a glimpse of these wonderful animals. 


The Pennsylvania landscape is diverse and full of variety. With the Appalachian Mountains bisecting the state, the eastern and western halves are distinctive both culturally and geographically, but neither is lacking for natural wonders.


To the east, you can find camping near popular destinations like the Delaware Water Gap at the border between Pennsylvania and New Jersey. To the west, there's the fantastic Laurel Caverns, where visitors can experience a three-hour-long tour that goes 46 stories deep into the mountainside.

The Space:

The cabin includes:
- Outdoor hot tub perfect for relaxing!
- Two bedrooms, each outfitted with a queen-size bed (plus a loft with two single beds)
- Fully-stocked kitchen with all the major appliances, including dishwasher
- Spacious living room with a vaulted ceiling and large brick fireplace
- Screened-in porch, perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine
- Smart TV in the living room, with Roku set up so you can easily sign-in to Netflix, Disney+, or any of your streaming services
- Hair dryer, iron, and full bathtub -- all the essentials for your home away from home
- Grill on the porch, and fire pit/picnic area to relax over a great meal

Beyond the cabin itself, Pinewood Place is part of Arrowhead Lake, one of the leading privately owned, gated communities in the scenic Pocono Mountains.  As a guest, you'll have access to all of the amenities of Arrowhead, and can:

 - Soak up the sun at one of FOUR private beaches around the lake (with playgrounds and fenced in swimming areas at each one) 
 - Rent canoes, kayaks, paddleboards or bikes (just steps from the cabin) and explore all 250+ acres of the lake -- there's great fishing too!
 - Swim at your choice of THREE heated outdoor pools (in the summer), including two with areas specifically designed for babies and young kids
 - Get your sweat on in the fitness center, with cardio and weight machines
 - Have fun in the game room with pool tables, ping pong, air hokey, and dozens of board games (perfect for a rainy day)

We often take our two little kids and dog to the cabin with us, so both our cabin and the community is very family- and dog-friendly.

Important note: Arrowhead Lake Community Association requires guests to register and pay additional fees for your stay.  Since the fee is different depending on the details of your stay, we___re not able to add a fixed amount to your initial booking for the registration. We'll confirm the fees and reach out to collect payment upon registration with the Community. Please be sure to pay this at least 3 business days before your stay; they're pretty strict about it and will deny entry to the community if the registration and payment are not completed at least 3 business days before your arrival. The fees will be $6/guests (age 6 and above). Beyond the per-person fees, the association also charges a $35 transaction fee + $20 per vehicle.

We know these fees are annoying and excessive, but unfortunately they're out of our hands. Please message us with any questions and we'd be more than happy to help!
