Atwood is one of the state's -- and region's -- top lakes for sailing and pleasure boating. Atwood Lake Park features a wide, sandy beach, vending area, changing room with showers, playground, picnic area and picnic shelters.

Nestled in Silver Springs Park in the Northeast corner of Stow, it is one of only a few municipally-operated campgrounds in Ohio.
