15 nice flat sites

Free sites in a small loop not too crammed together. Easy dirt road access. Picnic tables and fire pits. 2 sets of pit toilets. Pretty disgusting at the moment. Think trainspotting. Mostly empty at the moment.

Great Place

Very nice place to camp. Our kids had a great time! The trail head is right in the campground so that made it extremely easy.

Nice quiet campground

We stayed for 2 nights while we visited Fallingwater and the Flight 93 Memorial. We should have stayed another night so we could visit Fort Necessity NP just down the road but ran out of time. Park was well kept. Staff working hard getting things ready for the upcoming Memorial Day crush.…

Great park, ok campground

The park is great! The campground is only ok. Many of the pull thru sites are situated in the wrong direction with the electric hookup on the wrong side. The dump station is in a weird spot and the only water available is the same used for flushing. Nice camp store and super clean bathhouses…

Fish, hike, relax or seek river adventures

This is a remote riverside campground with great fishing opportunities for catch and release(check the requirements for license/stamps; I included a picture of a sign). One loop comes with water/electic hookups($7 more) the others are primitive. If you use solar, ironically, the sites around the…

Great campaite

This is a small campsite but we had a lot of fun. There is a trail right next to the sites and they have a nice little picnic area as well that you can throw a ball around in. There are only 8 sites I believe that are first come first serve. There is no firewood on-site but there was a place on the…

Primitive campground on the edge of the wilderness

This is a small rustic campground on the edge of the Dolly Sods wilderness. In spite of the gravel road to get here, you’ll find a lot of competition for sites during the peak season, particularly weekends. The roads close until snow and mud season have passed, so check road openings on the…

Nice getaway location

Semi private & large tent sites. Medium size beach and dock to launch kayaks at. Fish weren’t biting for us this weekend!

Bathhouse was nice and clean (August 2020)

The sites are nice but muddy; not very good drainage. The bathhouse was nice and clean. My friends and I chose this campground due to the lake- Randolph Jennings- and wanting to swim- the beach was closed due to COVID- the reason, they couldn't monitor people to social distance and wear a mask.…

Camping spot was nice and shaded (July 2020)

My friends and I camped in the small campground with a pop-up and a camper; the spots were shaded and we saw deer. The bathrooms did not have soap or toilet paper and were pretty disgusting- mold and mildew and pretty small for the amount of people within the campground; and there was poop/mud(?)…

Quiet and off the beaten path

The campsites are pretty close to each other so there's not a lot of privacy if there's a lot of campers present. If you like rugged camping, this place might do the trick. Fire pits and tent sites are not in good condition.

The bathhouse is "rustic" but they were clean for their condition.…

Quiet and well maintained

Spent one night here midweek in late May. Most campsites were unoccupied, so very quiet. Site 172 is right along a babbling brook. Showers were hot and free. Everything was very well maintained. The nearby small lake has a large sandy beach and beautiful views. Would have been nice for paddling…

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here. We camped at site #15 and it was perfect. It fit our 34ft toy hauler without any issues. The park is beautiful and very well maintained. -Sites are spaced out. -Dog friendly. -$5 firewood bundles at the entrance. -Cleanest bathrooms/showers -Crystal clear…

Nice park

This is a nice park, close to home with a lake. We like to picnic and go fishing. There are nice trails, volleyball areas, and playgrounds.
