Disappointed

When we saw the listing we were really excited to stay there: it had a canvas tent and is on Deer Isle (relatively) near Stonington. As we drove out there we realized that is was in a pretty remote part of the island, which was not what we were expecting.

Clean well run

Large sites, mostly level. Many seasonal. Many cabins. Near Baxter state park.

Cute place, great owners, small sites

The owners of this campground are the best. Ask them about their life story! All the things you need are there - firewood, water, bathrooms and showers, and even electricity at the site. Great Campground

It is very quiet and there is 0 cell service! Perfect place with lots to do at the campground! Great location to just disconnect from the rest of the world!

Only downside was we went during black fly season, wait until they are gone to be able to enjoy it fully!

Love it!!

LOVED this place. SUPER friendly staff. Arcade and well stocked store. Heated pool, campfires, tractor rides. Lots of permanent sites, but friendly, outgoing people!

Coming from Millinocket on the Golden Road (about halfway between Millinocket Lake and Abol Bridge), you'll see a turnoff to the left for "Debsconeag Campsites 4.5 miles." This is a rough road that I traveled with my Subaru Forester,…
