Peaceful, remote but easy to get to!

We spent two wonderful mid-week nights in our 25' converted shuttle bus.  We stayed in site 32 (no hookups}.  It was a grassy site surrounded by trees and brush, so pretty private.  It was not on the lake, there are about 7 RV sites right on the lake with full hookups which are great but they do…

Coos Canyon

Campground is quite nice, near the canyon. Stayed in lower campground. Roads are very rough so difficult to drive on, at night the grounds are totally pitch dark and far from bathhouse. There is one outhouse available to use as well. Firewood is expensive at $8, and no it's not more wood than we've…

Cathedral

Cathedral Pines is claimed to be one of the most beautiful campgrounds by people all around the country. The space between the sites, mountain views, an campground in high demand. Very kid friendly. An abundance of outdoor activities right out your door. Highly recommend!!!!

Beautiful

Clean, quiet, Ranger is awesome with info. None of the sites are directly on the water, but a few are close enough it can been seen through the trees.  Decent cell service with both AT&T and Verizon.

Loved this campground!

Our family had a wonderful time here! Angel Falls was amazing, Coos Canyon is awesome, and the local views are stunning. Friendly staff and quiet campground.

Very nice campground

Remote campground with many amenities! First of all, be careful when following certain gps/google directions…depending where you are coming from, you may end up on dirt roads/ATV trails (common in this region of NH) that could be hazardous in a passenger vehicle during poor conditions. In order to…

What camping in a campground should be!

We loved this place! Jeff, Cheri and Autumn, the owners for the last 3 years, are terrific people who LOVE THEIR campground and it shows! They are happy to stop and share information on whatever you want to talk about. They place has a wonderful energy about it. The Coos Canyon is adjacent to…

Beautiful Campground

So Far, the best campground we stopped at on our 2 week traveling adventure. EXTREMELY clean! Best hot showers! Beautiful open sites and no bugs. Planned in one night but stayed for 2!

Quiet camping

Quiet 50 site campground on Rangeley Lake. Sites are well spaced with plenty of woods in between for privacy. We were not able to get a water site so we missed out on kayaking. Chris, the manager at check in was extremely nice and helpful.

A throwback campground

Truly nice folks who built this campground 39 years ago, still run it. Well maintained and full of nice folks. Mostly rv camping with some tent sites. A lot of seasonal rv occupants. Great for families with children but nice for all folks. Two bath areas and a laundry room. Free baths and…

Beautiful find !

We stopped in on a Saturday at noon to see if by chance there was a site available for one night. There was a cancellation and we had a beautiful secluded, sunny, grassy site. The amenities here are great and extremely clean. We are on a 2 week road trip so it is very nice to do some laundry!!…

Pleasantly surprised!

Our campsite was very easy to back up our pop up camper. A Gentle little stream encompassed the site and the sound of Coos Canyon Falls nearby lulled us to sleep at night. This is a campground that is perfect for people who use four wheelers/ side by sides. Many trails to explore as well as many…
