No tens or RTT's?

I called to make reservations for September 21 for a5 days and she said that they are not offering tent camping at this time. Not even a overland trailer (Turtleback with a RTT), it has to be a RV only.

So much to dp

Full hook ups and most of the sites are well spaced. You can get a bay view but they go quick. Sites are mostly level. Great camp store that is well stocked. The staff is great and always ready to help,

Best part was being able to bike to the beach and no charge with your site pass. There are…

Great Island camping

Fun place to be.!!! Campsites are just a short walk to the beach. The staff is very friendly and will be happy to help with any questions you might have. Bath house is cleaned every morning and showers were pretty warm. The campground has different sections depending on what size Rv you have. Full…

Not great, but not horrible.

This KOA isn't the greatest but it isn't one of the worst I've stayed at. I'd stay again, but only if there wasn't camping availability around the area except for here.

Pros: Location on the bay - 👌 Pool/hot to on site Close to fuel stations Close to main roads to get you where you want to go…

Cheap Place to Stay

There is nothing special about this rv park. It has hook ups. You can walk to the bay and casino. It felt safe and the pad was level. I would stay there again.

Boondocking northwest Florida

It was great except for the yellow flies that were everywhere. Not as bad once we got in our spot.

Nice small park

Small park with mostly back in sites, several pull through. No facilities, full hookups.

Be ready to hike it in primitive tent

My wife and I stayed for 3 days. The worst part was had to hike in about a mile to primitive camp and the spots are not well marked. One we got set up though had a great time beautiful spot. Then had to pack and hike out

Cool Wooded Park with Ample Primitive Camping

Pulled in here and initially thought it was full until I saw signs for two primitive camping areas.

One had a small boat launch area for fishing boats or personal watercraft.

The other was perfectly situated at a few of the park's trailheads.

I chose the latter. For $13, it was a chill…

Quiet and close to town

There is not a lot to do in the campground, but it is close to a lot of things.  We had nice shade for our tent.  The park was full but really quiet.  There were mostly older people there when we went.  It was a nice place to relax.  Not far from the beach and entertainment.

Pleasant stay in well kept park

Easy access from town and nearby aquarium and art museums. Great drive on 90 along the beach to get there. Check out the small but interesting William Anderson art museum close by the campground. Park was full but sites are well spaced. Clean bathroom with separate shower rooms. Easy walk to the…

Hidden Gem

This place totally surprised us with how nice it was! They accept Passport America, so a full hookup sight was about $9/night. $18 without Passport America. Sites are large and private. Many are pull through. We had our own kayaks and bikes, so we went kayaking in the creek and mountain biking on…

The worst KOA I’ve ever seen!

This is not a friendly KOA! The girl in the office was more interested in the guy she was talking to than to help check us in. No one offered to take us to our site (most KOAs will escort you). It was pouring down rain. We requested a Deluxe Site. We were given a mud site that our motorhome would…
