Great little RV park

Pelican nest is a smaller RV park. We visited in the off season (late October) and the weather was beautiful. The owners were very nice and the spaces were a good size and clean. Water, electric and sewer hookups were well maintained. Getting in was super easy and they have a few pull through spaces as well as back in. It is in close proximity to a few really good restaurants and a nice wine shop/restaurant. Beach is a nice 1/2 mile walk with a boardwalk for most of the way.

Great location, not great campground

Located directly across from the public beach access, which was great. But the campers are crammed together in a gravel lot without any privacy. Bathrooms are not great, no grills or covered areas. Nice people, though!

AMAZING

There are 7 miles of walking beach off this RV and the island is a bird sanctuary in the Gulf Coast all around. Really loved this site.
