Camping on the Battenkill

Large campground in Arlington VT. Sites are in pretty wooded area and quite big, ground is sandy and all have E/W, picnic table and fire ring. Near several attractions and there is nearby gift shop with Norman Rockwell exhibit. Very nice campground but some noise during the day from mechanical…

Great camping trip

What a wonderful place to feel like you are away from it all. Nice jeep trails and hiking all around. Silver lake is amazing.

Great State Park

Sites are large, hiking trails within the campground. This is a very clean campground, no hookups but there is a dump station and water available. Sites are well groomed.

Quiet remote and beautiful camping

We stared at Moosalamoo August 29 through September 2 2021 and had a wonderful stay.

The camp host Plylar greeted us as we arrived and gave us complete information about the sites, amenities, bears (not so much bears) and even which pit toilets were the least stinky.

The sites are well…

Wonderful Campground

The people at the office are so nice and welcoming. The campground is very clean. They are dog friendly and there aren't a ton of rules like other campgrounds. Everyone else camping were very quiet and friendly. There are trails to walk and fishing spots on the river. There are trout in there, but…

Small campground in the Berkshires

Nice small campground in North Adams Ma. Very helpful friendly staff . Sites are nice and most have electric, water and some with sewer hookups. One issue is the hookups are spread out on your sites. So you may need extra hose or longer cord to complete your hookups. Camping here gives you a small…

I’ve always enjoyed staying here. Check in was super easy. The campground are on two sides of the main road. If you go down to the lower section they have a private beach for the campground. It’s located right on Lake George.

The restroom/shower facilities are always well kept. The one time I did…

July Weekend

Amazing views of Lake George. Staff and ranger were extremely kind and friendly. The rest rooms areas were semi clean but it was a sold out weekend. Friday and Saturday night there was a ton of street noise from Rt9. Overall was a great weekend.

Quiet Spot

We arrived on a Tuesday with no reservations. We had our pick of sites and no issues staying for 2 days. There were several sites reserved starting Thursday and Friday so the weekend looked to be busier. We only had one other camper on our loop the first night and no one the second. Sites were…

Great location for access to Lake George village and the outlets

Great campground if you want to shop at the outlets to the south or hang out in the village of Lake George to the north.  There is a huge bike path that leads to the village and the outlets.  Our campsite was close to the road with quite a bit of noise from the traffic but the campers were friendly…

Beautiful, well-run campground. Lots of great hiking.

Moosalamoo Campground is smack in the middle of the Moosalamoo National Recreation Area, in the Green Mountains of VT. 18 campsites, 8 of which are first come, first serve. Ample toilets and potable water available. There is a grassy area in the center of the campground—great for kids, gatherings,…

50 cent showers & $4 poo bags

True story. We stopped at Molly Stark state park in Vermont on the way home after vacationing in Maine. The sign coming into the park said no vacancy. When we got to the parking area I went up to the office counter and said, “We’re just stopping through. My husband is going to ride his bike for a…
