Location at the foot of the mountain provides amazing views and panoramic vistas. The staff is amazing and polite and helpful. Well maintained camp. Site is long and narrow but well shaded and clean. For a great dinner out try Maddox Ranch House (2.5 miles away) and skip the 60 min plus wait by…
The campground is small, and mostly RV residents. We stayed in one of a small handful of tent sites. Bathrooms are clean and there are two showers. We never did meet any staff, nor residents. It was very pretty... Until the wind hit. I have never encountered such winds! Had to chase…
Don’t let the name fool you. This campground is beautifully maintained. The office staff were very welcoming and helpful. The pull though sites make it super easy to get in and set up. Security gate offers extra sense of safety. The access from the highway was easy and convenient. Definitely…
We only stayed here one night passing through town but found it to be exactly what we needed. We got in late on a Sunday night in September and there were only a handful of RVs and a few campers. The park was closed on Monday but we could still see some of the animals through the gate! Spots were…

Great trails and a beautiful river. The double site in the back is my favorite (except the abandoned camper across the road). Very wooded. Campsites have firepit and picnic tables. Water source but no water hookups. Vault toilets were clean and looked new.
If this campground is full, continue…

Great location! Across the road is the Wind Caves Trailhead. Just down the road is the Crimson Trail Head. Liked this campground because it was quiet and intimate.
Mosquitos can be bad so be prepared for that. Each site had a fire pit and picnic table. Looks like very soon they will be taking…

Private campground close to the river. A good place to try out some fishing.
Each site had a fire pit, picnic table, and plenty of shade. The campground does have bathrooms and running water. Close to many trailheads, the only negative is that sometimes it can be loud due to traffic.

Great area and very clean. The noise from the road isn't very noticeable as you sit along a beautiful creek. It's super relaxing and very afforable!
Vault toilets, no water but lots of shade. Each site has a picnic table, tent, and fire pits. Dumpster available when leaving the campground. I…

Very nice campsites with teepees available in the next two very large stocked freshwater pond we’re taking trails want to go yes
a little tight but otherwise ok
Nice facilities, paved pull-thru and back in spots. I checked in around 8 pm and found no one at the entrance booths but there are provisions to leave a cash payment in an envelope and drop into a slot. The traffic noise from I-15 is quite present. It's very distracting and probably the loudest…
The park is nice, and my rating is primarily based on the area. The surrounding area is not so nice. Lots of noises from traffic, trains, airplanes, and the factory across the street. I would recommend staying outside the city, but if you absolutely need to stay in this area it is a good park.
This place was an oasis for any traveler. The sites are spacious, well placed with lovely views all around. I had a small river behind me. There’s a large pool and plenty of play areas. As large as Echo Island is, it’s surprisingly peaceful.
Great place to see some wildlife and you are still relatively close to the city. I saw Bison, coyote, cool spiders and tons of birds and insects.
Monte Cristo Campground is absolutely beautiful! The campground is surrounded by majestic Aspen, Pine and other trees. The loops that connect the campground are paved by asphalt (surprisingly not dirt) and can be very tight if you have an RV or trailer longer than 25' long. There are two large…
