Nice enough

Clean and well maintained KOA. Friendly personnel. Shaded, pull thru sites as well as back-ins, cabins, and tent sites. Sites are very level with crushed stone pads. Good water pressure. Lots of grass. Patio sites are available. Internet is poor, as typical of most RV parks. Cable tv with about 30…

Lovely place between the rivers!

This is a lovely campground that sits between two rivers.  There's two boat ramps that give quick access to Grand lake, Spring River, or The Neosho River.  The spots all have nice shade.  There are horseshoes, volleyball,  and a nice playground for entertainment.   There is a fish cleaning…

Little Quiet Gem

Found this conveniently off the main 412 route while traversing the country. A hidden gym. Quiet and clean, a basic campground but with a truly special waterfall a short walk from anywhere in the park. A little oasis, almost. Beautiful

Good times and a lot of partying.

The rv spots weren't bad to get into. Site was fairly level. Staff seemed uniformed of how things work for float trips. Bathrooms were clean and showers were hot.

Free easy camping

We decided to stay here on our journey because of the great reviews. It’s not bad… it seems most of the reviews are local , and going by that it is a 5 star spot… it’s an army core of engineers man made damn lake that was built in 53 . Lots of great pads for tent and medium rvs. It’s a bit of a…

Floater Boater 2021

Stayed for 3 days and 2 nights with a float trip on day 2. The rafts worked great for our group and we had some that brought their own kayaks as well. All in all it was a great experience and we intend to go back again for round 2 sometime in the fall. Restroom facilities were in somewhat disrepair…

First Solo Camping Trip

Sequoyah State Park is just beautiful. I stayed in Paradise Cove in a tent site quite literally right on the water since this part of Oklahoma is experiencing flooding right now. There are flush toilets in this part of the park, but there are showers in others. There’s a short hiking trail, it’s…

Nice views of the Lake

Very nice and clean campground. Reserve early though this one fills up fast. We camped here in the middle of the week and they where already at 75%. Lake side spots are not advisable if you have little ones, the bluffs are very close to the fire pits and have about a 30ft drop.

A great "locals" feel!

My wife and I decided to take a small primitive camping trip with our puppy to see how she'd do in a tent. We had a wonderful experience-- a great view, hot showers, and very friendly campers. We were at first nervous that our campsite would be noisy as it it near the boat dock, but it wasn't very…

Quiet campground, convenient location

General: Located near the Oklahoma/Arkansas border, this is a surprisingly quiet campground given its proximity to the highway. Once you reserve a site, you receive an e-mail instructing you to register your vehicle for a parking pass, which must be done prior to arrival. (There is a $10 charge…
