Verizon users report usable cell signal for phone calls, though Starlink has not worked reliably here.
The road holds up well in dry conditions, but at least one camper notes it would become difficult after rain. A makeshift rock fire ring is in place, and previous visitors have left firewood on occasion. Cleanliness has been generally acceptable, with a small amount of litter reported but not chronic. Fireflies appear after dark in summer, and a sheriff's patrol has been noted passing through in the early morning hours.
