Best RV Parks & Resorts near Dublin, OH

Several RV parks near Dublin provide full hookup options for motorhomes and travel trailers. Cross Creek Camping Resort in Delaware features 30/50 amp service with full hookups on both back-in and pull-through sites, though some travelers note the roads can be tight for larger rigs. Sunbury/Columbus North KOA Holiday accommodates big rigs with 50-amp service and offers seasonal operation from May through November. Alton RV Park in Galloway provides water, sewer, and electric hookups on sites that can handle larger motorhomes. Tomorrow's Stars RV Resort in South Charleston maintains 210 sites with 30/50-amp service year-round on level, gravel pads. "The site is not level and our leveling system has the front wheels off the ground," noted one camper about Cross Creek's pull-through sites.

Most RV parks in the region require reservations, particularly during summer weekends and fall foliage season. Dump stations are available at all full-service parks, with Alton RV Park and Cross Creek offering on-site sanitary dump facilities. Cell service is generally strong throughout the Dublin area, with multiple reviewers reporting good Verizon coverage at nearby state parks. Pet policies vary between facilities—Cross Creek maintains a small but "immaculate" dog park according to one review, while Tomorrow's Stars and Alton both welcome pets at campsites. For RVers seeking proximity to Columbus attractions, Alum Creek State Park provides electric-only sites with a dump station near the entrance, though weekend lines can be lengthy during peak season.

    Cross Creek Camping Resort

Big Resort with lots of trees

This is a RV resort close to a lake with a lot of seasonal campers. It is busy on the weekend but was very quiet during the week. The sites are close, but not unreasonably close. Good mix of pull through and back in and is big rig friendly. Plenty to do for the kids. Pool looks nice, was not open yet for the season.

    River Trail Crossing

    Nice little campground

River Trail Crossing is privately owned, small campground (which we like) but nice and quiet. Sites include tents, small rigs and large pull through sites for big rigs. Sites located on the river are water and electric. Sites off the river have 50 amp and 30 amp. State route 95 runs to the right of the campsite so if you reserve any sites on the river (right side) you will have some traffic noise from the bridge. We reserved spot 32, farthest site to the right on the river. We loved it. The river was only about knee to hip deep. Most family’s floated with tubes and saw some kayaks. Not much for fishing at this particular section of the river. There is a paved bike/walking trail behind the campground - B&O trail. Bathrooms and showers were very clean. They do have 2 dumpsites available. We really enjoyed this campground, owners were very friendly and offer firewood and propane if needed. Mohican state park is only 10-15 minutes away which is really nice for hiking and fishing as well. We will be back!

    Cross Creek Camping Resort

    Excellent Campground!

Cross Creek Camping Resort in Delaware, Ohio is a very nice campground with friendly staff and lots of amenities! There are large back-in and pull-thru sites, each with grass, tree, picnic table, and fire pit. They are 30/50 amp with FHU. The campground has lots of fun things for the family such as swimming pool, playground, basketball, tennis, dog run, laundry, yard games, and so much more! The store is stocked with snacks, souvenirs, clothing, camping supplies, holiday decor, etc. We love the large shade trees at every site. It is a blessing on those hot summer days. All in all, a great campground! Check it out when in the area. 👍🏻😉

    Berkshire Campgrounds

    Incorrect pricing

The price advertised on The Dyrt is incorrect. It is not $38.50/day. We paid $50.29 with full hook ups. Very clean, staff very nice, but guests are not allowed without registering at the office. Many seasonal/full time residents which made for quite a bit of early morning traffic. Beautiful fishing pond with well groomed trails. Dogs are allowed off leash on the trails. Staff very pet friendly and courteous. Well appointed camp store. Water pressure excellent. Electric well within standard. Gravel pads, our site was off 2”.

    Indian Lake State Park Campground

    FHUs Sites in a field

    PROS

Able to reserve 144 days prior to arriving

Very nice campground but the design leaves a lot to be desired

Friendly camp hosts who were busy picking up trash in common areas and cleaning sites Moveable picnic table

Metal fire ring with cooking grate

Site D45 level asphalt parking pad surrounded by grass

Great view of lake from D loop; some had water access at rear of site

Quiet except for campground party animals who kept it going into the wee hours of the morning

Coin-operated laundromats in non FHU loops $1.50 wash and $1 dry

Free WIFI available and able to connect at campsite

Dump Stations at Park exit have complimentary hoses

Camp store sells hard dipped ice cream

14 miles from the Airstream Service Center in Jackson Center

    CONS

    No senior discount

$6.50 reservation fee for self made on-line reservation

Basically the FHU loops are out in a field…no privacy from neighbors and no shade what so ever

Grass around sites desperately needed mowed, if you could get thru the large mud puddles

FHU loop D has narrow roads and require driving on grass to back in trailer and some campers in other sites had to move their vehicles

Short length of campsite required creative parking of tow vehicle

Damn Canadian Geese poop every...what a mess!

Site number on electric utility box

FHU sewer connection at the back of the campsite so bring the looooong stinky slinky FHU loop D had tiny toilet building, but no showers; showers were in non-FHU loops

No entry gate personnel on a Friday afternoon to accomplish check-in. Went to park office next morning and was informed no check in required prior to Memorial Day. Never saw a Park ranger driving thru campground

    Tree Haven Campground

    Great first RV experience.

Great little campground. My wife and I spent a month out there in a fifth wheel to see if we like the lifestyle. Very nice pool(clean). Great walking trail back through the woods. Pet friendly and the bathrooms were very nice. Well....I guess we did! We are now in a search for a Diesel pusher to go full-time!

    Kiser Lake State Park Campground

    Quiet Park

This park is know for the lake that is kayak and canoe friendly since it doesn’t allow any kind of boat with a motor. It also features a beach , 2 playgrounds and several hiking trails. Just be careful if you hike with dogs since some trails intersect with a nature preserve which doesn’t allow pets.

The campground itself has 20 electric sites , 56 primitive sites and 4 camper cabins. All the electric sites are pull through and all sites have a fire pit but only the electric sites come with picnic tables.

Due to off season and COVID the camp store is closed and there is no camper host or park office staff around.

We did notice lots of downed trees on the poorly marked hiking trails. Some trails just started but no maps were around and no trails were blazed. It was hard to tell where we were headed or how long a trail was. I tried using the new Detour app and it wasn’t very accurate for this park.

We did have good Verizon cell coverage.

    Alum Creek State Park Campground

Beautiful State Park close to Columbus Ohio

Alum Creek State Park is a beautiful park and great campground just outside the hustle and bustle of downtown Columbus and minutes away from attractions such as the Columbus Zoo.

The campground has good sized sites and is wooded throughout with clean bath houses, well maintained roads, and easy access for big rigs.

There is also a very nice dog park in the park including dog beaches with lake access for your pups to swim.

We love this campground and the beautiful lake and appreciate the easy access to local attractions, shopping, and more.
