Convenient location

Not a sightseeing destination, but very convenient place to stop for the night if you’re on a road trip doing a lot of driving. Safe neighborhood with a kroger right down the street.

Cute, small family business, and super friendly campground

This place has the nicest people working and they work so hard to keep it beautiful. New showers and bathrooms, new laundromat, new and improved process to get to your spot, and very safe. There is a fire pit you can use with free firewood when I was there! There’s also a small store inside the office in case you forgot something (like I did). Highly recommend to anyone!

WORST PLACE EVER

This place is small and quiet. That is the only good thing about park. Campfires not allowed. They yell at you for everything. We had our portable grill out and they told us we couldn’t use it because it might ruin their grass, showers were dirty, and didn’t like the way trailer was parked tried to make me move it less than one foot. Close to my kids and grandkids but they weren’t allowed at the camp. Will never stay there again worst experience ever.

Great overnight stop

This is a small, maybe 35 sites, clean well maintained campground. The owners have rules and they DO enforce ‘em. (They will guide you to your spot and likely oversee your parking and check set up.) as a result it is quiet, grass all in good shape, etc.

Sites are close but we had plenty of room for what we needed. We could have put out awnings if we had wanted to. A storm was expected and they do have basement shelter available.

When traveling through we would definitely stay again.
