Cross Creek Camping Resort

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Reservations are available and recommended at Cross Creek Camping Resort, a privately operated RV resort in Delaware, Ohio, where nightly rates run $35 to $95 depending on site type. Roads inside the park are tight, and some pull-through sites sit on slight inclines, so rigs requiring precise leveling should factor that in before booking. The campground accommodates RVs up to 90 feet and provides full hookups with 30/50 amp electric, water, and sewer at most sites, along with a dump station, WiFi, showers, and drinking water.

A large share of the sites here are occupied by seasonal residents, many with established patios and decorations. That means the transient section is a smaller subset of the overall park, and sites closest to the interior road see regular golf cart and vehicle traffic throughout the day. Sites do include grass, shade trees, picnic tables, and fire rings, though at least one reviewer flagged an uneven brick patio and an overgrown fire ring at site 133. Weekends draw crowds. Dave B. notes it "was very quiet during the week," which suggests midweek stays offer a noticeably different experience.

The resort's amenity list is substantial: a swimming pool, playground, basketball and tennis courts, a dog run, laundry facilities, and yard games. The on-site store carries camping supplies, snacks, and RV gear, and a local farmers market has been known to set up on Saturday mornings nearby. Cell service gets positive marks from reviewers, though WiFi reception has been described as inconsistent. The campground sits close to Alum Creek State Park Campground, giving campers with a day to spare easy access to the lake and surrounding trails.

"Amenities are clean, as described and dog Park is immaculate but small," notes Brenda M., which tracks with the broader pattern in reviews: facilities are consistently maintained, but the dog park and some site features have real limitations. Trash pickup is not provided, and the dumpster walk may be inconvenient depending on site location. Tent campers are welcome, with grass and shade available, though the open layout between sites means little separation from neighbors. Booking a pull-through away from the main road and checking site-specific details at reservation time is worth the extra effort.

Fee Info

There is a 3-night minimum to book a full hookup reservation on the weekend. Holiday weekends require a 4-night minimum.

There is a 2-night minimum to book a Water and Electric reservation on the weekend. Holiday weekends require a 3-night minimum.

Reservation Info

Please note we allow you to come in as early as 12:30 pm. If you come BEFORE 12:30 pm, there is an early check-in fee of $10 for each campsite.

A Very Pleasant and Quiet Campground

This campground is clean and we'll maintained. They have a pool, and activities on the weekends. Must sure have a tree and grass with fire pits and a table.

Lots of traffic noise

Nice grass for your tent and plenty of shade. Lots of traffic both vehicles and people on foot. Sites are spaced fairly well but fully open to each other

Nice spot in a good location.

Sites are pretty close together and mostly permanent, but it’s in a good location and decent amenities. Our site needed maintenance but overall, it was a good week.

Nice place, lot of seasonal camps

Roads are pretty tight and spots are on the smallish side but not too bad. Most sites are seasonal campers and the non-seasonal sites are kept up very good. We stayed at a Premium pull-thru and the brick patio was very uneven causing me to trip several times. The brick fire ring was overgrown with weeds and grass coming thru the bricks and half of it was a 6-8 inch drop-off.... imagine falling off at night! This was site#133 the neighboring sites didn't look as bad. We would consider staying again at a different site. We camped at Cross Creek Camping Resort in a Fifth Wheel

Excellent Campground!

Cross Creek Camping Resort in Delaware, Ohio is a very nice campground with friendly staff and lots of amenities! There are large back-in and pull-thru sites, each with grass, tree, picnic table, and fire pit. They are 30/50 amp with FHU. The campground has lots of fun things for the family such as swimming pool, playground, basketball, tennis, dog run, laundry, yard games, and so much more! The store is stocked with snacks, souvenirs, clothing, camping supplies, holiday decor, etc. We love the large shade trees at every site. It is a blessing on those hot summer days. All in all, a great campground! Check it out when in the area. 👍🏻😉

Overall, Good place to stay

Overall, good place to stay if you are looking for an RV park with amenities in this area. Clean and pretty well maintained park. We don’t use all the extra amenities like pool etc, but there seemed to be a lot to choose from for kids. Small dog park. Normal size lots for an RV park. Super crowded on a summer weekend. All size rvs and also tent campers. Easy to find.

Big Resort with lots of trees

This is a RV resort close to a lake with a lot of seasonal campers. It is busy on the weekend but was very quiet during the week. The sites are close, but not unreasonably close. Good mix of pull through and back in and is big rig friendly. Plenty to do for the kids. Pool looks nice, was not open yet for the season.

Nice People, Nice Pool

Lots of full-time residents, great private campground. It’s an RV resort, so sites are right next to each other, but the grounds and facilities are clean and well-kept. The pool is really nice. They also have a playground for the kids. They also have themed-event weekends, which are really fun! It’s on the pricey side, but worth it in my opinion.

Very nice resort

We stayed two nights here on our tour of Ohio. After staying in state parks, the narrow sites are close with no privacy. Our pull through site was on the (inner) road, so lots of golf carts, cars and campers passing by. All pull through sites are on the road side. The site is not level and our leveling system has the front wheels off the ground. Many full time units here beautiful patios and decor. Staff is nice and friendly. Trash pickup isn’t offered and the walk to dumpster would be excessive for unfit or handicapped. We would stay again. Amenities are clean, as described and dog Park is immaculate but small.

What a great campground. From the activities for the kids to the nice spacious sites. We were there for the Halloween weekend and it was amazing. Can't wait to go back.

Nice campground, well maintained.

We enjoyed our stay here. The store was well stocked but could have a little more selection of drinks, produce, meats. They had some sad bacon that looked kind of brown and the bread was hard. Upside, a local farmers market came on Saturday morning with fresh veggies.

Some sites sit on slight inclines but not all. Our camper, a 5th wheel was a real pain setting up. Staff was very nice. Nice pool. Lots of activities for kids. They were well stocked with RV stuff in store. Bathrooms were clean. Cell phone reception was very good. WIFI was not too good. Lake is close by and grocery store is 10 minutes away. There are a lot of full time renters here. Price was a little high but not crazy.
