The place was right in the beach. The sites are back-in level paved with concrete slab some grass and electric and water but bring a big hose because the water spigots are not lined up very well. (There supposed to remedy this)

Big bathhouses, convenience store in middle. The whole scenery is beautiful, close to Hampton Beach. Watch out for the black birds they'll fly into your screen tent, get in your trash and eat your 🍉 out of the rind. The sites are pretty close it's like parking lot with small yard. The water…

It was fine, a lot of rain as usual lately. Not much to do unless you have a vehicle

The place was ok the sites were small and there's a lot of stagnant water making it filled with bugs. The site we were in had a flood spot in it so we couldn't sit in the screen tent without getting out feet soaked. The 2 Bathhouses were like most though the have a tether ball out front.

Large, quiet campground

Nice large sites, great bike paths to explore. Lots of hills though in the heat was a bit challenging. :) Definitely must have bikes.

Private and clean

I enjoyed this campsite. Great hikes and there are trees that separate campsites. Semi-private and a well kept campground.

Quiet, small, bigger sites, no amenities

This is a cute little campground that’s easy to access. It’s 20 minutes from downtown Newport and about 45 minutes to downtown Providence.

It’s well shaded, has a nice playground, bathhouse, and a laundry room. My biggest complaint is the dryers are terrible. I had to dry my clothes 3 times (…

Very clean and organized

I stayed for one night and have to say it was a very lovely place to spend the night. Full hookups at each site and the place is away from the busy street.

My favorite campground in Mass!

Tents, yurts, powered or not powered. You can have remote-feeling sites, or ones that are close in…and all are “floored” with nice flat cover of dry pine needles from the towering white pines local to this area. A few miles from the north coast of Cape Cod (town of Sandwich), close to beaches and…

  • Yurt ceiling with pendant lamps and glass top
  • surfing possible nearby!
  • yurt with 2 sets of bunks, picnick table / benches, water (outside) & power!

Large sites

Nice wooded campground with large sites. Camp store closed early than most campgrounds for being in the peak season. Roads are in bad shape, especially the entrance. Overall though, a good campground.

Great campground

The campground is so peaceful. Birds everywhere and children laughing. We had the greatest camping neighbors. It was really good. The site we had only had 110v. One night it caught on fire. Scared us to death. Luckily there was nothing plugged in. It was newly installed in this area so hopefully…

Nice people but definitely needs care

The campground is quite tight but doable for large campers. There is a pool that is clean. The rest of the campground needed to be cleaned up. The electrical is the worst part. It constantly fluctuates and if you have a surge protector it will turn everything off in your camper to keep it safe. The…

Easy access to hiking trails

Located in a large state park, Massasoit have easy hiking trails that are filled with a variety of migratory birds. The campground sites and facilities were well kept. Fire rings and fire grills in each site. Rangers patrolled through the sites frequently and were friendly.

Beautiful easy access to nice hiking trails/ponds

Wonderful birthday weekend early in the season with quiet campground and beautiful days of hiking.  Staff were very helpful and friendly at check in.  There are many beautiful campsites but would generally look closely at surrounding high traffic areas like bathroom/showers which were in great…
