This is such a convenient spot to camp! Tons of people camp here. The lake is nice but also just as busy.
Easy to back in, electric.
The office staff is very helpful. In the south part of the park, it is an asphalt parking lot with full hookups. The north part of the park has trees. The sites in the north section are gravel, dirt, asphalt, and a small number of concrete pads. The south area can handle large rigs. The picnic area…

Very cute and quaint. Host was friendly and nice.
Camp area was more for unhoused people in the area. I was camping in my car and the site was a walk-up, so I couldn't use it luckily. The facility did work with me and put me in a non-working RV site by the tent area, but someone pulled on my door during the night. The sink in the shower area was…
The valley this campground is in, is flat out gorgeous. Amazing boulder mountains and tall pines make for stellar views. Sleeping with the sound of the river was also awesome for the whole family. But, it isn't perfect (depending on your site). We reserved site 21 b/c it was right next to the…

Went the week before Memorial Day '21 and found several spots available. Sites are small but with just me and my lab it was perfect. John the site manager was very friendly and not an uptight site manager. Had a nice little hike around the area. My lab loved being able to swim in river. I will make…

Beautiful! Deducted two stars for being overpriced, not to mention the construction during the day and the coincidentally loud neighbors in the evening.
What a great little spot to relax for a weekend. It’s quiet and because there are only ten spot it seems like your in a private oasis.. the host Becky and Kirk were great and so sweet.

Not a place for overlanding or tent camping, this site is strictly catered to RV’s. We had a “primitive tent” spot reserved for one night, but the site was not what we expected. You are not far at all from I-24, I mean maybe 200 yards? There is a house right beside the tent sites with a deck that…

Indian Creek was pleasant and I would return. Attractive sites available with trees and grass. Most sites are better suited for tents or vans. I was able to fit a 20 ft travel trailer, but there’s only a handful of trailer sites. No hookups. Cell service was zero with ATT and Verizon. We hiked…
The spots are so private I had my 3 year old pee on trees the whole time. The park is clean (showers were a bit sketch but fine) and honestly a treat to camp in. All spots I saw were pull through. Hands down the best sunset I’ve seen in Colorado so far.

Sites are stretched out along two short trails. Most far enough that it makes sense to treat it a bit like backpacking so you have fewer trips to make. No campfires. Sites spaced out, but if you happen to get an upset baby at the next site like we did, you’ll be up all night too :( pit toilets and…
Have stayed here in a tent, in a yurt, and in a cabin. All are great! Bathrooms clean. At 10,000 feet, it can be colder than you expect and watch out for the altitude effects! Yurts are wayyy fun.
Shhh, don’t tell anyone. You are on the river, nestled amongst gorgeous boulders, easy to get in and out of even with a large travel trailer.
The hosts are always extremely friendly and helpful. This one even helped us locate a dump station.
This is a great campground for a quick getaway! The full hookup sites are few, but the campground is lively, lots of aspen trees and shade. Fishing nearby is stocked and great for children/novice as the fish hit fast
