Nice but pricey

Overall Nice site. Stayed one night. Too pricey for a stopover. Propane fire pit looks nice but could not use. Must have a 20 pound tank. Store was closed as we arrived at 5 pm.
Train and traffic noise as expected for location. Lot of stuff for kids. Nice facilities. Clean park.

Love RV Resorts like this

We’re a one night in each location maybe 2 as we tour the US in 4-6week chunks. So places like this we can pull up to after a 6-10 hour drive day and the kids can do a water park, we can grab dinner and drinks, arcade, activities etc. it’s awesome. Super friendly neighbors. Great sites. Clean, big nicely landscaped. Love the propane fire pits. We had excellent proximity to both pools, store and arcade. We leave EARLY so good to be by the exit.

Beautiful place

When we arrived we found out our spot was by the train we asked to be moved and they were extremely accommodating and put us in another spot up higher away from train. There is so much space here it's unreal. Lots of accommodations i.e. bathrooms, showers, laundry etc. Our washer was broken due to the rough roads so easy to do laundry here and dry on the coach. Plenty of room for our 40 ft Allegro Bus to back in and park the jeep next to it. This is a great place for kids and grandchildren. We picked it because it was close to our sons graduation from college. Life is an adventure, right! The wifi is not great but we called their people who hooked us up. Very clean, met some nice people, saw some deer, and Yogi the bear! This is worth the adventure!

A bring-your-own-room resort

Spent the weekend with the grandkids and loved it! So many activities and the water park was amazing. We brought the trailer and stayed in a elite site. Also paid to reserve a specific spot.

The elite spots are spaced out more and have paved patios with propane fire pits and Adirondack chairs. Spots are level and make set-up easy.

PROS: Lots of activities; Dog park; Well stocked store; Lots of “comfort stations”; 2 different pool options; Restaurant with bar

CONS: Road noise; Train noise; lots of cars driving around (not super safe for kids biking); the place is huge and walking from place to place is tiring

I recommend you reserve a golf cart. It is easier (and safer) to get to all of the activities. (You also won’t have an 8 year old begging for one all weekend.) They are usually sold out on weekends.

I also recommend reserving a cabana if you’ll be spending time at the water park. Seating and sun cover is at a premium and are staked out early.

Lastly, check out the events before you arrive to be sure you don’t miss anything for the more craft-minded kids.

We have already reserved again for next year…and I reserved both golf cart and cabana. I am angling for grandma of the year.

UPDATE 6/2022: can now confirm that golf carts and cabanas are the way to go! Stayed at site 256. Paved and easy access. Just show up in daylight to save your marriage.

Great family fun but loud train at night

We brought the whole family here and had a great time but the train comes by ALOT all day and night so that kept me up but my daughter slept through it - maybe a camp site higher in the hill would have been better The water in the water park was cold! Kid pool was fine - about 80 degrees. Water slides about 70 degrees but could be because it was opened a week earlier then usual. But still fun. I would recommend a pull though if you have a bigger rig as the spots by the cabins are kind of hard to get Into due to weird angles and cars and gold carts in front All in all we would return - staff was super friendly. Lots of activities for the family and I would recommend the golf cart to get around the park is huge!

I really wanted to give them 5 stars!

This campground is amazing! They’ve given everything a complete overhaul and it’s pretty awesome. That being said, there are many things that they list as being open that simply are not, and even though they give you an after hours phone number nobody ever responds. The laundry rooms were all locked, I called several times trying to get a response and received no call back. The camp store was closed during “open hours”. The restaurant that was listed as being open on April 30, was closed the whole time of our stay in mid-May. So while the amenities are fantastic, it seems that they are severely understaffed. Despite all the issues with things being open, we would definitely stay here again because it is a great Jellystone and I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt that they are working out the kinks.

Beach yeah let’s go

We love this place. It’s so family cute where kids are running around or on bikes. There’s a flat long Long Beach. Went for a run down it and I’ll never forget one of the best runs I’ve ever had. It’s a little $$$ for the average joe but man it is a cool place. I’d go back

Disney World of Camping

What a place. Hundreds of spots- a water park, a bounce pad, cabins, golf carts, putt- putt oh my!

This place is a campers with kids dream. It can get noisy and it’s definitely not remote.

For the adults and families who want to hike I highly suggest spruce mountain trail. Nearby and full of great views! We drove around in the nearby quaint town of Larkspur and even spotted a bear!

So much to do for the littles!! Recently completely redone the entire park and it is all so wonderful! The campsites are amazing and the activities are so much fun. I love the proximity to Denver. Our kiddos love the characters. We will definitely be back each year, even more so with the new park!

All BRAND NEW!!!

This place is really cool (if you got the cash). Tons of amenities, pancake breakfast with characters for the kiddos. Water slides (that were packed even with COVID😬).

The cabins are very nice as they should be for $250 a night

Convenient camping

Cute campground, we camped back by the little lake. It was quiet as there were few campers at the time. The train was expected, so it didn’t bother me to much. The site we were assigned did not have a fire pit in the site, it was up the road by another camp site. Because of that we did not have a fire. Kind of awkward to leave camp to have a fire. The camp was clean and about what I expected. The bathrooms were no anywhere near that side of the campground either.

Close to town

If you’re looking to get into the wilderness and away from civilization for awhile, this place is not for you. If you want a place close to the highway and easy access to the beautiful attractions of Colorado Springs and/or Denver, then this is a great place. It’s noisy at night because of the trains and highway but my kids LOVED the activities they offered like the pancake breakfast, pool, hayride, Yogi Bear, and a kid “escape room”. A different kind of camping than we’re used to, but it was a great spot for our first trip with the pop up camper.

Embarrassment to Jogi Bear

This park is on the freeway. There is also no fence between the park and the frequently used railroad tracks. There is no jump pillow, yet it's promoted. The playground has crime scene tape around it, maybe because it's leaning forward. They have 2 inflatables filled with nasty water. Not much room to ride bikes, only near the entrance of the park because the park is on the side of a mountain. The pool is pretty small. We only saw 1 character drive around even though promoted nightly. Definitely will not return. Very disappointed.

Noisy and Dusty but close to town !

ThIs place Is really geared towards kids. Expensive, Dusty and uneven sites. It’s very hilly so if you want to get around to explore, make sure you rent a golf cart. Also, the train comes by often. Good dump station.
