Not the best

There are no bathrooms, showers, and sewer hookups. If you want to stay there for one or two days I think it’s ok… But little pricey for no amenities.

Poor sites

The campsite that I had was very uneven. It was practically a down hill slope. I had a hard time getting my camper level. This campground does not have any amenities. No bathrooms, no showers, no hookups. The camp hosts are nice enough. They also lock their dump station so when you want to check out and use the dump station you have to track down a camp host to get the code for it. This is very inconvenient. Would not recommend to other campers.

Great place to stay

Great campground. Clean. Pine trees give great shade all day. Hook ups and dump station. Just outside Elizabeth and an easy drive to Colorado Springs area and the Parker/Denver areas.

Meh

Still no campfires allowed.... just a ball field, playground for younger kids and a rodeo ring in the back. I guess there’s a splash pad near the office which isn’t even on the camping property (BFE). Which you only learn about if someone camping tells you about it. No showers. No actual campground designated bathrooms. The camp host is weird and stays a crappy filthy trailer near entrance. Sap drips nonstop from the pine trees over everything! You can’t get away from it, period. Ants are everywhere. And the “pad” we had was nowhere level and we couldn’t even attempt to level on our own with the camper that’s how bad the ground is. Plus it was not big enough to accommodate our 27’ camper. Just disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend for serious campers even traveling through.

Pleasant location

Small, quiet, and well treed. Close to town, some restaurants, grocery, and fuel. A bit pricey for not having sewer. Has a dump station.
