Great time “glamping”. Close to home with all the amenities!
We were able to pitch a tent along side our Mini Trailer in the RV section of the park. We have visited twice now. Hiking swimming, biking, and nearby Kayaking in a clean friendly environment. The park offers large sites with nice lawn to play catch and other lawn games with the family. Also they…
We have stayed at San Onofre State Beach a couple times. The campground is on the bluffs, and nearby Old Man's beach has some of the best beginner's surfing waves in Southern California. The day use area gets crowded quickly during the summer, so be sure to arrive early. If you don't want to camp…

We've been staying at San Clemente State Beach for more than 30 years now, and it's always an enjoyable time. The beach is great for surfing and boogie boarding, with the famous Trestles surfing spot located about 2 miles away.

Campground is small but the staff was friendly.
First time here and would definitely come back.
No longer a KOA. Spaces are very tight. Good for 1 nite only stay. Staff was friendly and place is clean but not much room to maneuver a lg. rv. in.

You know fairness there are a lot of spots that are better than others some closer to the lake further they have separate little communities they do have some that look as though they were permanent residents but they only allow you to stay for 21 consecutive days then you must be gone for 60 it's…
The 4 stars is primarily for location. This is essentially a parking lot with power and water. We had a beach front space (B035) with a decent sized palm tree. The only one I really saw. The spaces aren’t huge so if you have a big rig or large trailer it will be tight. Most trailers parked their…

Mesa Campsite at Silverwood Lake was clean beautifully kept and we had a wonderful time!
I only saw the first 9 or so sites and stayed I think at site #9. For the most part, spacious spots, fire ring, picnic table, a lot of trees, and varied slopes. Road in is placed initially then dirt but is fine. There's other rough roads further in and access to hikes nearby. I loved how quiet it…
It was insane… Pop that coochie and some other explicit remarks are being blasted to the highest decibel while trying to tell a story to your 7 and 9 year old. Restrooms are vile and the showers did not work.
