Typical Regional Park Campground

This is your typical regional park Campground. There’s a lot to do here, including fishing, playgrounds, and even a waterpark in the summer. The bathrooms are decent, no showers.

We stayed in group campsite A. Tent camping is only allowed in group sites. They do have about 30 to 40 RV sites as well. The tent camping sites come with plenty of space for group camping. There’s a built-in grill and running water.

There’s no larger wildlife, like bears, so less stressful when you have pets or kids. Plenty of space to bring bikes and ride around. There’s a large community park right next-door where you can go and play baseball, basketball, sand volleyball, or frisbee.

We’ve been here several times over the last few years and really enjoy a nice quiet place close to home.

Great Multipurpose Site

We used this park as our first camp with our new RV to sort out any issues. It is a very clean park, great pull through sites with full hookups and a dump station. Brought the grandkids and dogs and we had a great time. plenty of space between sites and the kids love the lake and playgrounds.

Great campsites

The park is open and spaces are mostly partially shaded. The green spaces are full of stickers and mostly unusable for things like walking dogs, kids playing. I was charged junk fees. $7 to make the reservation myself online and then $1 per pet, per night. Hopefully that will go away soon. For $50 a night, they could throw some grass seed around to choke out the stickers. Also, there are discounts available but you need to know about them, then get an adjustment at check in. For military, veterans, seniors and I forget what else. This is $5 a night so it doesn’t even offset the junk reservation fee of $7.

Great getaway

Such a great spot, lots of space and lots of open space to play and run around. The spaces are speaker out very nice. The only downside are the showers and bathrooms. You will find your typical metal toilets and urinals, which gives out an unpleasant smell when using it, but if you have a trailer with your own toilet and shower you are good to go. Full hook ups. Very quiet areas and the pool/lake is there in the hot months for a separate fee ($7-$12 pp) and paddle boats ($6-$12 pp)

Perfect place outside busy city of LA

Very nice campground. TONS of space and great group sites. Awesome views of the mountains to the NE. Tons of hiking trails and within 30 min drive of major shopping/grocery stores. Big Bear is about an hour away with and awesome drive up the mountain. We hike and off road with our jeep a lot and this was a great base for heading off to do either.

Lovely hilly grounds!

Really beautiful here! Sites are spread out. Lots of trees with a back drop of mts. But website is very confusing to me and the weekends book up months ahead. There is no waitlist. You just have to keep checking to see if anything opens up.

Great last minute getaway

First overnight trip in our class b so we had to book at the last minute. Easy to book, easy check in, and got a spot for a Saturday night with pull through and full hookups. No cable, but good internet using my cell phone. Well maintained camp ground with lots of beautiful trees. Great picnic table on site with lots of trees.

Good spot.

We're usually full-time boondockers, and this was the first time we've paid for an RV park, so we don't have a lot to compare it to. But overall it's been a pleasant stay. Lots of shade, a pond, and reasonable rates. Good water pressure in the showers, which has been nice. Most private RV spots discriminate against Skoolies, but this place didn't seem to care.

Great place for a quick get away

This is a great place a for a quick get away. Close to the city but far enough away from the lights. There is a ton of stuff to do here. Fishing, kayaking, hiking, water slides, disc golf, bike trails. The RV spots are beyond huge! We will be back soon.

Serene visit

We camped in site #5. It’s right by the entrance but super secluded. We felt like we had a whole park to ourselves. We had a picnic table and a grill as well as full hookups. It poured rain the whole time so we didn’t get to do much but when there was a slight break we went to the 2 different playgrounds and 3 different lakes. There was frisbee golf and fishing. We had a good time despite the weather. Would definitely return. One thing: the sewer hose doesn’t screw in well. We had to put something heavy on top to make sure it didn’t come up and pour out.

You can’t go wrong with this park!

This park is beautifully maintained. I’m so happy! Verizon service is only 2 bars but I can still work. Full hookup. Some sites have better shade than others. I’m here in the heat but my AC is keeping up. There are a lot of available activities and the Yucaipa Community Park is also next door. Drug store and grocery store very close going north. Going south you can find all kinds of stuff. Would definitely come here again.

Grassy clean camp sites

Excellent campground. Well maintained. Large concrete pads that can handle any rig. So much to do all around a park. Does get very cold, was in the teens overnight when I was there in Feb. Fires allowed which is nice.
