Small campground only 20 sites maybe. Quiet with nearby hiking and biking even a little lake.
Great campground. Driving distance or short walk to lake. No Verizon cell service.
We stayed at 2 sites, 36 and 7. Both were nice. There is a little traffic noise. It’s close to town, and there are many things to do in the area. This will be a regular one for me.

This is my go-to local campground, a quick 20 minute drive, and I’ve been camping here for years! The facilities are always clean, and the other campers are generally quiet and respectful here. The sites are spaced out nicely, and it has never felt crowded to me even during the busy season.
Awesome place, Campground 17 was a cool little walk to the lake! Plenty of room for shore fishing and exploring! The Ranger seems to be on it about the reservations and getting there early...We got there 2 hours early and just started setting up lol Overall solid spot 🤙🍻
Great campround near Prescott, AZ Visited here in April. Nicely wooded campground with multiple hiking options. Flat tent pads, long driveways, quiet, fairly private sites, drinking water available, and outhouses with pit toilets. Some cell signal on TMobile and a cell booster.
Up in the pines and smells great! Lots of dispersed spots waiting for you but the early bird gets best choice!
Easy in and out campsites. Gorgeous views! Close to Prescott.
Great views of Granite Mountain and lake! Two parking sites, one with a boat launch and Yavapai campgrounds close by.
Such a beautiful place! Amazing views of Granite Mt, great hiking trails. Feels out in the wilds but less than 10 miles from Prescott.
Check out the other reviews. They state the situation very well. It is a very nice campground. There is room for some large rigs. Newly built flush toilets. Only negative is you sometimes have to listen to ATV’s that sound like giant kazoos. Did not see any tents, only RV’s. Half price for…

The rangers and staff here were extremely friendly and helpful. The lake is gorgeous. Watch out for wild burro along the highway. I had cell service close to the lake but at the RV site I did not get service (ATT). The closest gas station is 45 minutes away. There is a shop up the road that sells…
Big open parking area before heading to trail head. A little tight getting to the trailhead with small sites off the road where I saw a few van dwellers and just before the trail head was a vaulted toilet, I never checked it out. Once you made it to the trailhead, there’s a parking area and if to…

Not a ton of dispersed camping around here but the spots we found were ok. You’re a short drive or walk to the water where you can boat, fish, hike. Pretty views when you get there. The entrance to the dispersed sites we found are to the left about a half of a mile before you enter the Alamo state…
Sure, some people don’t know how to pick up after themselves, but I wouldn’t rate it poorly for that reason alone. I always bring a large heavy duty trash bag to pick up whatever I can reasonably fit into my forester. There’s no amazing view but I had no idea there were such forested places in a…
