Mingus Mt. FR 413

Pros: Beautiful spot. Easy access. Lots of camps. Rd in not bad( although a lot of spots need to be careful with a car) CONS: a lot of vehicle traffic all day and night. Tons of OHV running all Hrs. Most camp sites set 50-75 yards off of main rd so you will experience rd. Traffic.

Large spots. Quiet. T-Mobile pretty solid. One of the nicer disparate sites I’ve encountered.

Nice spot

Plenty of spread out spaces. We enjoyed our time. If there’s rain/snow it is muddy though

Hard to find, but very nice!

This was not an easy place to find. We came through Jerome and took 89A S all the way through. If you get to Potatoe Patch campground you are very close, but make a left off 89A South to get to these spots instead of a right (where the fee site Potatoe Patch campground was closed)

Great camping

Not much shade at the top. But have cell phone and wifi service. Spaces are spread out and if you keep going down the 413 road another 3 miles there are about 40 camping spots between beginning to end of road.

Beautiful!

Many free campsites to choose from, primitive roads are ok enough for my Corolla to navigate. One of the few free campgrounds I’ve been to that was actually clean. Quiet and respectful neighbors spaced out very nicely.
