Roadrunner Campground - Lake Pleasant

Set on 23,362 acres, Lake Pleasant Regional Park offers 148 sites for RV and tent camping. Each developed site has water and electricity, and a dump station, covered ramada, picnic table, barbecue grill, and fire ring. Each semi-developed site and tent site has a covered ramada and picnic table, barbecue grill, and fire ring. Restroom and shower facilities are offered to both types of campsites.

Located in the Northwest Valley, Lake Pleasant Regional Park offers activities boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, picnicking, and wildlife viewing - plus visits to the Discovery Center. Lake water levels can fluctuate throughout the year, typically reaching its highest level in the spring (March and April) and its lowest in the fall (October and November).

Skyline Regional Park located in Buckeye, Arizona is an 8,700 acre park in the southern White Tank Mountains. The park features 16 miles of trails for hiking, biking, and horseback riding. Seven camping sites are also available to rent.

 Located near the meeting of the Gila and Agua Fria Rivers in the southwest Valley, the park includes seasonal wetland or riparian area during our winter and monsoon rains. The majority of the park remains pristine desert, very similar in appearance to the landscape seen by the first settlers and explorers. The Sierra Estrella range, or Star Mountains, was once within the Mexican border, and remained so until the Gadsden Purchase in 1853. Today, many amenities are available to visitors, including the only grass picnic area (65-acres) in the Maricopa County Park System.   Show less

Bartlett Flat Bartlett Reservoir and the Arizona Upland phase of the Sonoran Desert. This site offers beautiful vistas of the surrounding mountains. Bartlett Flat has primitive boat launch opportunities for small boats. River Access Point (RAP) for Verde River. There are no designated campsites at this shoreline area but camping along the shore is allowed. High water levels will limit the amount of available shoreline in this area.

The Bartlett Reservoir area is noted for the spectacular vistas of the Desert Mountains and the Sonoran plant life. A fair portion of the west side of the reservoir is devoted to camping and picnicking. Bartlett has been a favorite with anglers since Bartlett Dam was constructed in 1939. Several state-record fish have been caught there. The 1977 Small-mouth Bass state record tipped the scales at seven pounds. The carp state record still stands at 37 lbs. 5 oz. Flathead Catfish lurk in the depths. “Fish City” near Bartlett Flat is a fish-habitat improvement project.
