Pinnacle Farms South

RV sites at Pinnacle Farms South sit between date palms on a working agricultural property, where campers share space with pomegranate trees, citrus groves, and farm animals. The approach to RV spots requires navigating down a small embankment, making careful backing necessary for low-clearance trailers. Full hookups serve RVs while tent sites occupy a separate grassy area toward the back of the property.

Farm operations continue around camping areas, with chickens, cattle, and rabbits visible from sites. A self-serve farm stand operates on-site, stocking fresh eggs, dates, and homemade baked goods through an honor-system payment box. The property includes a dog agility course adjacent to some RV spots, and leashed pets can explore the farm grounds under supervision.

Hot water showers and clean restroom facilities serve both RV and tent campers. Melanie S. enjoyed "camping out in tent with fire going next to Lemmon trees" while using the provided stove and sink setup. The location provides access to metro Phoenix attractions within an easy drive, though campers should bring appropriate footwear for walking on farm terrain and consider a doormat to manage dirt tracked from the working property.

This setup works well for campers comfortable with active farm operations and those seeking a rural base near urban amenities.

When life gives you lemons

Camping out in tent with fire going next to Lemmon trees. Stove and sink to cook and clean up showers to wash up and bathroom. Hot water in shower. We just made lemonade 😋. Oases in the 🏜 desert.

Pinnacle Farms relax with beautiful views

We anticipated having a wonderful stay at Pinnacle Farms and we weren’t disappointed. Our 19’ trailer was in a quiet, private spot next to a large grassy area sometimes used for canine agility. It was lovely walking along rows of pomegranate, citrus, dates with beautiful South Mountain as a backdrop. We enjoyed seeing the vintage trailers used for Airbnb stays and the lush grassy area for tent camping.

There was a self-serve farm stand where we purchased fresh eggs, dates and homemade zucchini bread.

The metro Phoenix area has no shortage of things to do and places to eat…. and many are in an easy drive from the farm.

It was a great place to take our dogs (on leash, of course). We had nice strolls around the farm. They got to see chickens, cattle, rabbit and a farm dog(all calmly viewed by our guys and at a respectful distance).

There were no negatives to our visit, but we do have a few recommendations for future guests. You are on a working farm, so wear the appropriate footwear if walking around the property. Bring a shoe scrubbing doormat to minimize any dirt in your RV(we have an Astro-turf mat). The approach to the RV camping site is down a little embankment and you will need to go slowly and be mindful backing in if your trailer is low like ours.

We want to thank Janna and Mike for their welcome and their help. It was a great stay!

Great stay!

This is a working farm. The RV spot was between date palms and next to the dog agility course. The tent sites were in the back and seemed nice and private. The property has a farm stand where you can pick up eggs, homebaked goodies, and other produce anytime using a self-pay box. Janna was very prompt in her response and squeezed us in last minute. After checking Airbnb and Hipcamp this was the best place we found close to the city.
