This KOA isn't the greatest but it isn't one of the worst I've stayed at. I'd stay again, but only if there wasn't camping availability around the area except for here.
Pros: Location on the bay - 👌 Pool/hot to on site Close to fuel stations Close to main roads to get you where you want to go…
Overall….meh. The RV sites are not on any type of paved or level ground and are not suitable for larger RVs. They're VERY close together and there are a lot of trees. They call them "pull through" sites but there isn't enough room to pull through and turn onto the road (you could barely pull a…
This campground is nice and well kept. Facilities are fairly new. Close to tensas river. Only negative is there are virtually no trees in campground and it’s a little pricey at $40 a night
My wife and I stayed for 3 days. The worst part was had to hike in about a mile to primitive camp and the spots are not well marked. One we got set up though had a great time beautiful spot. Then had to pack and hike out
We spent 4 days at this camp site. There is two different sites on with poured pads and the other just dirt. The sites are night and day different. One kept up and the other ran down. Unable to get on the good side due to long term retired campers. However, overall good place to stay for the cost.…

Tent camping was very peaceful and great location to everything. Such a great few days we had here
This place totally surprised us with how nice it was! They accept Passport America, so a full hookup sight was about $9/night. $18 without Passport America. Sites are large and private. Many are pull through. We had our own kayaks and bikes, so we went kayaking in the creek and mountain biking on…
Wendy and Jim were funny and helpful. Spots were gravel with nice paved patios. Small laundry area with clean machines. Unisex baths were clean. People were fishing right off the bridge that separates the two parts of the campground.
Very quiet park. All the trails were nice
This is not a friendly KOA! The girl in the office was more interested in the guy she was talking to than to help check us in. No one offered to take us to our site (most KOAs will escort you). It was pouring down rain. We requested a Deluxe Site. We were given a mud site that our motorhome would…
Been coming here since I was a baby. Love it and seems like they always trying update something.
This is a favorite to go to in Winter. Peaceful and great weather!!!!!
What a wonderful RV park. The staff was so helpful. We were taken to our site and we were guided as we backed up our RV. The grounds were nice and everything worked. We wished we could’ve stayed there longer, but we were just passing through.
Gulf Shores Alabama Gulf State Park Current camping spot on the canal. Ours is a nice pull thru with electric and water. Almost 500 sites here from tent to big rig friendly. Spacious sites, some with foliage, some with Lake or canal views. Grills but no fire pits. Right now there's a shortage of…

Stayed here May 2020. This campground takes up many many acres. We had a waterfront site with 30/50 amp, water, and sewer. The site was very spacious, level, with good shade. The amenities were awesome, the best bike riding ever, trails for miles and miles over land and water, huge pool, tennis…
