Peninsula State Park contains five separate campgrounds, and Weborg Point sits closest to the entrance, with roughly 20 sites that give it a noticeably smaller footprint than the rest of the park. The sites are level with gravel parking pads and forested surroundings that provide reasonable separation between neighbors, though reviewers note the campground fills quickly and reservations often get claimed early in the year. Water access is a consistent draw here. Sites sit near the shoreline, and multiple campers mention fishing as a reason to specifically request the Weborg area over other sections of the park.
Electric hookups are available, along with showers, flush toilets, a dump station, firewood, and a picnic table at each site. Pets are permitted. The park itself adds considerable range for campers who want to stay active, including swimming beaches, hiking and biking trails, a nature center, and a live outdoor theater. Scott M. notes the campground is "super quiet at night and right on the water," which tracks with the water-access theme that runs through nearly every review. Out-of-state visitors should factor in the daily entrance fee on top of the nightly rate of $28 to $53.
Fish Creek's shops and restaurants are close enough for an easy evening trip without feeling like the town intrudes on the campsite itself. Campers researching campgrounds near Peninsula State Park will find several options in the area, including Welckers Point Campground a short distance south for those who want a different section of the park.
