An accessible cabin for people with disabilities is available at High Cliff State Park and makes for great camping near Neenah. The cabin can accommodate up to six people and can be rented for a maximum of four nights per year. The cabin is available May through mid-October. The family campground has 112 campsites (32 with electric and two accessible) and eight group sites. Campground hosts stay on site 58 from April through October. Pets are permitted in the family and group campgrounds. A flush toilet/shower building is in the family campground for overnight guests. There are also several vault toilets throughout the campground. The shower building is open seasonally, usually May to mid-October. A sanitary dump station and recycling/garbage station are available and free to use by all registered campers. There is a $10 fee for others to use the dump station.

We’re a small campground in northern Wisconsin. And we like it that way. We’re the kind of place you can take your family and not feel like you’re camping with the masses. Here you set your own pace and agenda. Paddle a kayak down the river, cast a fly in our trout stream or simply hang out at our beach. It’s up to you! There are 45 sites water/electric sites (23 seasonal and 22 overnight), 2 sleeping cabins, a glamping tent that sleeps 2 and a lake house that sleeps up to 14. Boulder Lake Campground is located on the shores of Boulder Lake in northern Wisconsin. It is the forest's largest campground but campsites fill up fast. The campground is home to individual and group sites, making it an ideal location to relax with friends or family. Recreational opportunities abound.
Boulder Lake provides ample opportunities for power boating, water skiing, fishing and swimming. Anglers might catch walleye, northern pike, bass or panfish. Ice fishing is also popular on the lake, and the boat ramp and parking area are plowed during the winter to provide better access to the lake. Nearby streams are good for trout fishing and in addition, the Wolf River offers whitewater rafting and canoeing opportunities. Educational programs may be offered sporadically at the campground's amphitheater.
The campground lies around the southern end of 362-acre Boulder Lake and is the largest public campground in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest area. It is located in a stand of young hardwoods, overlooking the lake. Some campsites are situated along the water's edge and others are further away, providing a quieter camping experience. Puddles and damp spots are common throughout the lush campground.
Langlade is the nearest city, about 25 miles west of the campground.

The Bagley Rapids Recreation Area is now OPEN following the July 19 windstorm! If you enjoy listening to the soothing sound of flowing water, you will appreciate this campground. About one-third of the 30 campsites are located adjacent to the Oconto River. Trout fishing, berry picking, swimming and sightseeing can all be done in or near this campground. Weekends bring the most campers, with only moderate use occurring during the week. So come and relax among the pines and enjoy the sound and beauty of Bagley Rapids. Nearby is the Mountain Fire Lookout Tower, a popular local tourist destination. This is one of the last fire towers standing on its original location in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. It was built in 1935 and was one of a series of 20 towers built in the Forest during the 1930s. If you’re brave enough, you can climb the tower and enjoy a panoramic view of the surrounding countryside. The Jones Spring non-motorized area is nearby, and offers hiking, hunting and cross-country skiing. Also nearby is Cathedral Pines, an area that survived Wisconsin’s logging era where the majestic pines and hemlocks have been preserved in their natural state. General use at this popular campground is heavy throughout the summer, mostly on weekends. There are plenty of sites to see on the district and Bagley Rapids Recreation area can serve as a home base. Did some fall camping with friends, and there were 4 family’s. 3 of them stayed in these three sites which were fairly wide open and kind of looked over the lake. They would be great sites to book as a group, but I wouldn’t recommend them to book individually as you wouldn’t have much privacy, more so in the middle site. These three sites are E, F, and G. Bit if a corner site and you are next to some private homes.

We were to only ones here camping. This area has 3 sites 2 next to each other west side of lake and 1 on the north side of the lake. All have lake frontage. We choose the single, north of the lake site. The only drawback to this site it is right on the road with mostly ATV, UTV traffic. I would stay here again.
GuideWe stayed in the primitive area which wasn't crowded at all just after labor day. The sites were nice and wooded with lots of privacy. It rained most of the time we were there so we didn't get to explore much. Tried to walk down to the lake from our site, but just got to the top of the cliffs on the lake.
The automated pay system insisted we pay for 2 nights since they considered Thursday to be a weekend night. This is just silly. Thursday is NOT a weekend night.

Campground is adequate, it has a functioning shower house and private spots. I used a primitive campsite and it cost me $30 ($15 if your from WI). That was on top of the $11 non resident park entrance fee. So $41 for a primitive tent site, $47.50 if you count the bundle of firewood I bought from them. So yeah, keep that in mind if coming here as a non resident. I’m sure there are cheaper places nearby.

This was quiet and peaceful. When we needed our fire pit cleaned out theg came pretty quickly. Being able to watch the horses was very calming. We would recomend this place to others and we would go back.
TravelerI stayed three nights over Labor day weekend. There was an ATV festival in lakewood that i was unaware of until arriving so there was a lot of dust and noise. ATV riders also frequently walk into your camp to use the toilet. I had to adjust my camp for privacy after the first couple of groups.
Aside from that the camp is the perfect size for vans, small trailers or tents. The ground is not very even but you could probably get one or two tents in there.
No fish in the lake. Don't bother trying.
The worst part was finding the pay station. Its at a campsite on highway T about 3 miles south of 64. It's $5 per night cash or check only. I spoke with a park ranger who was checking in at camps, he said they were going to post maps next year at each site.
There is a small easy to climb path straight down to the lake. It's a fairly soft, muddy bank but I was able to launch my kayak easily from there.
If you are hammock camping this is a fantastic spot.

We had site 18 which is right on the water and across from the shower house. It was decently spaced out from the other sites. The shore was pretty level and easy to get our kayaks in and out. The shore is shallow and mostly sand. Nice for swimming. We did catch one bass off the shore. The firepit grate was most of the bars so that made grilling a little harder. Be aware the sites to the east are higher elevation and looked like it was steep to get down to the water. Shower house was nice and clean. The first night we did hear a bunch of teens yelling at the shower house around midnight, but they either got kicked out or left because we didnt hear them again. The waterfront sites are on the main road, so you do hear all the RVs coming and going. Definitely will go back!

Stayed for the first time at this campground in July and loved it. We stayed on a tent site, it was huge and had electric. I love that the campground is right on the lake and there’s quite a few amenities for people who boat. It is pet friendly and the bathrooms are quite a walk but clean and hot water is available.

Chute pond park is one of my favorite campgrounds to stay at. They have reasonable rates, clean bathrooms and almost all sites are electric. There’s lots to do the whole weekend whether you want to go hiking, fishing, boating, small cliff jumping, or take a walk to slippery rock. This year they also have now available kayaks for rent at $20 per hour.

Nestled between towering trees, the campsites here were clearly marked and tidy. Each site has a nice fire ring with grate. Main road is paved and sites are small gravel. Hiking/running trails are wide enough to accommodate strollers.

We rented a camper for the first time and decided to go here. We appreciated the facilities and the fact that there was help available if necessary.
The campground is big with lots of sites. Some are in a big field that was really crowded. I’m glad we asked for a wooded site.
The biggest downside was noise. We were there over the 4th of July. There were golf carts that circled the campgrounds blaring loud music on the 3rd, 4th, and 5th of July. I get celebrating the 4th but this was pretty annoying.
But overall this was good. It helped me realize I prefer more remote camping. I’m not sure the resort feel of this KOA is for me, but that is a preference. There is a lot to like and a lot to do here.

Excellent campground! Well maintained and easy to maneuver around. Quiet and enough sun and shade for everyone. Owners are helpful and very nice! Nice playground for the kids, swim beach for great summer fun, campground store/food/drinks if you’re hungry or desire a cold drink to beat the heat and such amazing riverside views that melt the weeks stress away! We will definitely be back to this jem of a campground! Come see for yourself, don’t take my word for it!
