So much goose poop

This park is okay but the site we were at had so much goose poop and geese, it was so disgusting. Kids pool is drained for some reason but the big pool is open.

Party Central

Love this camp ground, but they definitely pack it in. Always a good time and party when we're there....but that's what we're looking for. All their sites are nicely wooded, but can get to be close quarters. Good facilities, good bar, great food, newly remodeled pool facilities. Wifi is lacking,…

Nice campground

Campground has 10 sites for $30 a day, all with electricity and water. There is a dump station nearby behind the city garage for $10. There are vault toilets with free showers. The sites have immediate access to the river for fishing. There is a beach, two sand volleyball courts, boat launch, and…

Peaceful

We ended up camping here after finding out the last site at Council Grounds was taken by the time we got there(we did call before we left). There were maybe only 1-2 other camp sites taken when we arrived and they were on the other end so nice and quiet. My kids and husband loved the campground.…

Our favorite local spot!

My kids have been camping with my mom here for years- since it was Kastle. We started a couple years ago. This is such an amazing family campground! Kids of all ages everywhere. After dark the kids usually have a big game of something up at the playground and I have to tell them to be home at a…

Always go to camping spot!

This is our go to place every spring, summer or fall! We like to travel all over the place and try different place but this is always a must to go to as well as last minute let's go camping spot. The owners are so friendly as well as everyone that camps there. They have a nice pond for swimming and…

Great, quiet camping spot!

We visited Fawn Lake in 2019 as our first trip with our new RV. Friendly owners, quiet spaces and beautiful wildlife!

Nice and relaxing

You name it I’m sure you can find it at Hartman Creek. From swimming area fishing hiking trails. My favorite camping ground even when was a kid.

Fun times!!!

I just stayed at this campground this weekend and it was a blast! The campsite we had was decently size and felt very private with all the trees surrounding us! The hiking is great and it was a short walk to the beach, it was also a short car ride to the chain of lakes!

It was quiet and adequate. Water(lake) was disgusting.

It was really inconvenient for none of the amenities to be open. The campsites were ON TOP of each other.

It was, however, very quiet and family friendly. The site we had was along the lake and very flat, but we were too close to our neighbors and the lake view was less than amazing.

Great family campground!

This has been one of our favorite stop overs! Plenty of activities for the kids, nice staff, and friendly campers. Had to dock a star for the tight spot though. way too difficult to back in and super close to other campers. But other than that, it was great!

Wish I had found this years ago

This county park hits all the important stuff. Great sites. Electric sites. Nice restrooms with flush toilets/showers. Store. Fireword on site. Clear water for swimming and no motorized boats. Playground, sand volleyball court. On the ice age trail. Bike trails. Near ATV trails and they offer disc…

Good for Kids

If you have kids looking for adventure, this is a great place to be. The camp is primarily used for a program similar to Boy Scouts called Royal Rangers. There's primarily tent sites with trails, a lake, an obstacle course and more right nearby. Camp Wilderness is a good place to initiate your kids…

Beautiful site on the water.

Quiet little campground, I was in one of the three canoe/ walk in sights and they were right on the water. All three sights were separated from the rest of camp and are tent sites. All have a picnic table, grill, and fire ring and are big enough for 2-3 tents depending on the size of the tents.…
