Lake access and full hookups draw RV campers to Crystal Lake Campground in camping near Lodi, open April 15 through October 15 with sites accommodating rigs up to 80 feet. Leveling can be a real challenge here. At least one full-hookup site has a sewer connection positioned uphill from the pad, and some areas sit adjacent to the maintenance yard and dump station. The office is at the far end of the grounds rather than the entrance, so arriving without a gate attendant means driving the full length of the park before checking in. Staff have a reputation for being accommodating. Paddlers will find the lake accessible directly from the campground, making it a workable base for a water-focused stay.
