I am giving this place 4 stars, even though this didn’t truly reflect my experience. I’ll start with the good.
Stoney Creek is an incredibly well-groomed rv resort that I have already enthusiastically recommended to a friend who has an rv and a young family. The amenities are amazing. Chlorinated…

Right on lake peppin. Cramped spots with no privacy Camp post cruised around constantly hassling us about everything and made us feel unwelcome. Trains come by every 15-30 minutes just feet away from camp site.
This is our first Wisconsin state park camping experience. This place is lovely! Nice and secluded. Our site is spacious. Nice deep fire ring with a grill grate. Really close to the river, as well. Yes… the trains do go by quite a bit, but it really hasn’t bothered us. Beautiful tall trees, clean…

Hiking trails were difficult but offered amazing views. Sites were spacious and spaced out.
Spent 2 nights here. Not so crowded during the week. In newer area of campground, very clean and nice bathhouse, camp sites don’t have as much shade here, but will as trees grow. Throughly enjoyed the hike along the Dakota trail.
This site is a gem! Close to the Twin Cities yet out in the country. Mostly grass sites. Beautiful pool. Susan and Brad are wonderful hosts and very accommodating. We took our grandkids and they had a blast!
One of the most amazing parks in the state! With its fun but difficult hiking trails and beautiful rivers to fish from you might be lucky to catch a rainbow or brook trout but be ready to go very early or near dusk if you hope to land a bite. For those who enjoy wildlife and nature I highly…

Enjoyed a difficult but fun hike, went fishing, and camped out in group site 3 which is the one with the most shade. Keep watch on the ground to not accidentally step on a snake. They do have Timber Rattlesnake but they are so rare I didn't see one. Mostly water snakes, one was sleeping in the…

This is a very well kept and very clean Campground they have activities all the time recording one where they hide painted Stones around the campground and if you find The Rock they have prizes such as free night. So it's really fun when you're rocking around the Campground you're always on the…
Lucky for us we were there during the week. Very quiet and nice, we were right on the river. Dirt sites which made for mud when it rained. Great pool. Ride to 3 hour tubing right back to the campground
Right on Lake Pepin
The eagles soar as you swim in the sandy, shallow warm river stream. What more could you want?

This park is about half full and so beautiful. The bath house and toilets are a bit old but in good condition. It is right on the Trempealeau Bay and Mississippi River. There are trails for every level and biking all around. There is a boat dock, and you can rent canoe or kayak. There are…

This park was great. I site 6 is large enough for two tents and has soft flat ground. Not footy or rocky. They trees are way out so it is not an ideal spot for hammock camping. It was a small park you can hike it in about 4 hours. Some of the trails are overgrown. The river crossing can be a little…
This is our 2nd visit to Perrot SP. both visits have been for just short of a week.
Campground is spacious and nice vegetation between sites. Sites range from mostly sunny to almost cave like when leaves are on the trees.
There is a rail line that runs along between the Mississippi and the park…
