TravelerThe campground was full but very quiet. The campers are stacked into the hillside and are very close to each other, but it was still a peaceful overnight experience. The office staff were friendly and the restrooms and showers were clean and always stocked. It’s nice that it feels like it’s out in the mountain countryside, but is just right outside of downtown. A great place to stay if you’re coming in for an ASU home game.

They don't have hookups or showers in the bath houses but the peace and quiet is incredible. We spent 5 nights on the blue ridge parkway and Shenandoah skyline drive. Great trip. Love the National Parks!!!

If craft beer is what you like there are four (Im sure there is more) interesting breweries within 30 miles. There are also trails to take if you are a jeepster like myself. I'm going back in Sept!
